Bag om Bigfoot of British Columbia
Who or what is Bigfoot? The simplest description is of a huge, hairy, muscular bipedal creature like a big ape and covered in hair ranging from black to brown to red to white depending it seems on the season as well you might see. The average heights reported are six to nine feet tall.
Numerous North American peoples have mythologies concerning this mysterious creature and that would be an enormous book in its own right. I will stick to this which is the largest set of books on Bigfoot ever published which due to its size. It is in four volumes in paperback format. Over twelve hundred pages of Bigfoot encounters from all over the North America! All of the sources are in the bibliography and are published or available on very reputable sites on the internet such as BFRO. Many are anonymous but I believe that this can be disregarded. Bigfoot is still a controversial subject.
You might notice that some of your favorite reports of Bigfoot might be missing. I know that your Grandma saw something in the local lake or woods or sky but she never did mention when and sometimes even where so Grandma's sighting will not be included. This also applies to plenty of other sightings. No dates so no entry. Even a year is enough and the name of the locality. Neither of these is a no show. But there are thousands more so find out about what might have or still might be lurking in your neighborhood. This is not your normal road map as we visit all over the continent. Happy travelling! You will be amazed as to what you will find in your state or even your neighborhood!
Not all states start at 1800 either but I will try and start with datable and generally findable events. Some have plenty of sightings, some have very few and a lot of places that you thought had none actually had quite a few. I have seen various paranormal research organizations on the internet disappearing without trace and all of their accumulated data and knowledge with them. That is why I like books. Even after the last website crashes there might well be a lone paperback sitting in a thrift shop, safe with its repository of knowledge.
Is Bigfoot rare? This book says NO! You be the judge.
Read firsthand accounts in their own words, and spelling, as well as second person and third person accounts from many sources both in printed format as well as from respectable Websites to my understanding. This may seem disjointed at first but it shows the emotions and reactions of the observer much better than a long dry list of third hand reports. So the reports will be a mixture of first person, second person and third person as well as historic. Many of the reports are also in the witness's own written words as well including spelling and sentence structure. I prefer the authenticity of the reports as I am reporting their words, not mine. Editing is for tidying up purposes only. Sometimes the spelling is amazing but the report itself is still true to form.
