In this late age, seasons have lost their steady cadence, and the Pomegranate Moon rises over the Mountain. In the Season of Shadows, a silver light is cast by a moon crowned with an ominous rainbow mist-the Pomegranate Moon. A small, fearful village crouches below, hidden in the shadow of a forbidden sacred mountain rumored to be the gate to Faerie.Out of the darkness emerges Elsinore-a dancer in a brightly colored dress and rainbow shawls. While she drums a hypnotic beat and dances with floating flames, the townsfolk watch and wonder over her origin and identity-mysteries Elsinore herself seeks the key to.A hallowed priestess and sorceress, Elsinore has spent a lifetime embracing the woman she has always known herself to be. But deep within, the painful enigma of her youth keeps her shackled to the past, haunted by guilt and grief. Disregarding the whispers and ancient warnings, Elsinore descends into the heart of the Mountain, seeking the final truths of her identity. Will Elsinore uncover what she needs to become whole, or will she lose herself to the Mountain?

Udgivelsen er støttet af Grethe & Jørgen P. This is not a book for children, but it is a book for everyone who was a child once upon a time.Jane Gilmore, author of Fixed It and Teaching Consent, takes aim at fairy tale princesses and hits right at the heart of the myths that underpin women's poverty and men's violence.Though a piecing combination of analysis and storytelling, Jane Gilmore peels back the layers of enchantment and exposes the ugly truth behind the fairy tales that have been embedded in our culture over millennia of telling and retelling. After laying bare the history, context, and effect of fairy tale princesses, the reworked stories of Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, the Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast shine a light into the darkness and show us the dangers of the fairy tale princess myth.
I've written over 65 books, created a training program in Germanic Magic, and now I decided to explore skaldic poetry by translating my book: "The Norse Gods and Their Myths," into a poetic edition. I don't claim to be a great poet. This book has been a disciplined exercise for personal growth. If Asatru is to become a "living religion," then we can't continuously harp back to works of literature that are a thousands of years old. We need modern-day skalds writing new Eddas about the Gods. I humbly submit this book of poetry as an attempt on my part to do just that. I do hope it will inspire you to write your own poetry.

The series is part of my Draga-verse, but the romance in each story focuses on one couple and can be read as standalone.

This is a sample version of AYODHYA - Shallow at Heart. It has the first three chapters of the Prologue of Ayodhya. The Ramayana is the first epic of India and Sri Rama is India's first hero. Ramayana tells the story of Prince Rama, who stood against all odds and followed his Dharma throughout his life. This novel revisits the events of Ayodhya Kanda and offers a new perspective to the readers. Although the story revolves around Rama, we see the events unfolding through the eyes of Chitraratha, a fictional character introduced in the narrative. Without changing the authentic story of Valmiki Ramayana, this novel blends the tale of Chitraratha and Aarvi with the events of Ayodhya.
