This 600-page volume of Luxemburg's Complete Works contains her writings On Revolution from 1906 to 1909 - covering the 1905-06 Russian Revolution, an epoch-making event, and its aftermath. Over 80 per cent of writings on this volume have never before appeared in English. In this book, important works and approaches of policy-oriented emotion research are brought into a systematic context. For this purpose, three different types of emotions are elaborated, which in their totality constitute Homo Emotionalis: binary emotions, basic emotions, reflexive emotions. They correspond to individual-psychological stages of development, but are also relevant in the social and political handling of emotions. The interplay of emotion types and social constellations leads to different modes of political action, which shape different forms of emotional politics. In each case, individual logics emerge along which emotional politics is pursued. Basierend auf einer Kombination aus Habitus-Feldtheorie und Netzwerktheorie wird ein Zugangsma entwickelt, das zugleich die Konkurrenz der Forschenden und Universitaten um Aufmerksamkeit sowie das Potential erfasst, Expertise in politische Entscheidungsprozesse einflieen zu lassen. Mittels eines Mixed-Methods-Forschungsdesigns, das die materiellen und symbolischen Ressourcen der Universitaten, deren strategische Ausrichtung und felduberspannende Netzwerke erfasst und miteinander kombiniert wird deutlich, dass eine hohe Konzentration des Zugangs auf wenige Eliteuniversitaten vorliegt. Weiterhin zeigt sich, dass das Zugangsma ein sehr guter Pradiktor dafur ist, dass Expert*innen der jeweiligen Universitaten zu Kongress- und Senatsanhorungen vorgeladen werden. Vor diesem Hintergrund stellt sich das entwickelte Zugangsma und die unterliegende theoretische Fundierung als Grundlage dar, den allgemeinen Zugang von Akteuren zu Schaltstellen der Macht zu untersuchen.
