Consultancy is a lucrative industry dependent on the production and use of tools and techniques which hold out the promise of success for the organisations it supports: transformation, or greater efficiency and effectiveness, perhaps even culture change. However, a critical and important question is whether these promises are fulfilled in everyday practice in organisations. Is it possible at all for consultants to predict and control the changes that their clients ask for? This volume reframes the role of consultants from detached observers wielding a stable body of knowledge useful in all contexts, to that of skilled participants in the conscious and unconscious processes of organisational life.In this book, one of three in a series looking at complexity and management, the expert authors bring together their experiences to provide vibrant accounts of how to lead in everyday organisational situations using practical judgement. The book includes a brief historical introduction to complexity and leadership, real-world narratives illustrating concrete dilemmas in the workplace, and a concluding chapter that draws together the practical and theoretical implications. With both theoretical grounding and practical insights from managers and consultants in leading firms, this is an ideal resource for executives and students on leadership development and talent management programmes, as well as those undertaking higher education courses in leadership and consulting.
DNA ¿the genetic code of life¿ is considered one of the most incredible and intelligent self-assembling nanomaterials. The unique feature of DNA self-assembly is surrounded by multiple disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology, material science, medicine, and even in computer sciences. DNA self-assembly through specific base-pairing provides a programmable fabrication method of DNA nanostructures with various geometries. DNA nanotechnology exploits the predictable self-assembly of DNA oligonucleotides for designing and constructing innovative and distinctive nanostructures. Highly ordered DNA motifs and structures can provide us ultrafine frameworks for the next generation nanofabrication. All these applications are predicated on the complementarity of two DNA strands, embedded in the hydrogen bonded base pairing linking adenine (A) and thymine (T), guanine (G) and cytosine (C). DNA provides a smart route for the creation of nanoarchitectures with programmable and predictable patterns. Because of its unique and novel characteristics it can intermingle multidisciplinary research areas like nanoelectronics, Opoelectrincs, biomedicine, and even in modern computer sciences.

The 750 pages of the book (in 3 volumes) cover essentially all conceivable aspects of pumps - hydraulics, bearings, lubrication, mechanical seals and packings, cavitation, materials of construction, alignment, vibrations, energy, and efficiency improvement methods, reliability concerns, and solutions, repairs and upgrades, culminating with a "MacGyver Specials" section reflecting on the real-life balance between the theoretical approach to solutions and a practical "just-fix-it-now" attitude. The book will be a great asset to both young engineers starting their career in the industry, as well as to the old-timers who will find many practical cases described in the book familiar and reflective of their own experiences. Maintenance and operating personnel of the water and wastewater plants, power stations, paper mills, chemical plants, and other industries, will find advice and suggestions on how to handle various problems they encounter with pumps in their daily work. The book should be a valuable addition to anyone's collection, to add some sense, humor, to relate their own life experiences, and to take difficulties and problems with a sense of patience, wisdom, keeping in mind that "vanity... all is vanity".Enjoy!

Data structure is logical or mathematical organization of data. It describes how to store the data and access data from memory. Actually in our programming data stored in main memory(RAM) and To develop efficient software or firmware we need to care about memory. To efficiently manage we required data structure. There are two different types of data structure. In linear data structure data elements stored in sequential manner. Stack Queue and Linked List are the types of linear data structure. In Non-Linear data structure data elements are not stored in the sequence manner. Tree and Graph are the type of non-linear data structure.
A number of population censuses and demographic & health surveys has been conducted in Sudan, which provided a bulk of mortality data at different disaggregating levels. Different analytical and evaluation papers on mortality levels, differentials and trends were written by the author from these data. The author believed that it would be more beneficial if these papers were put together in this book to help the reader to study the mortality conditions in this country from a unified reference. The book consists of 10 papers on the evaluation and analysis of mortality data obtained from these sources. These data constitute the mortality conditions in the country between these censuses and surveys periods. In addition, the book presents a comprehensive database of mortality indicators. This database includes estimates of the different mortality indicators from different data sources, referred to different official references.
It represents a sparing in the various protocols for gathering the information from the sensors and broadcast it via Internet of Things (IoT). A lightweight pathway collection model LIBP (Least Interference Beaconing Protocol) builds a spanning routing tree. The distance is minimum with spanning routing tree to the rooted nodes based upon the scatter information via sporadic beaconing process. The sparing result is being gathered by the sensor nodes through a LIBP where the parents are anticipated from a flow matching traffic records from nodes to sink in the network. The simulation is done on the Contiki OS under a Cooja simulator. The LIBP outperforms the special version of RPL and in the term of power consumption, recovery, scalability and throughput in the CTP protocols.
Shukradhatu is one of the seven Dhatus in the body. Garbhotpadana (reproduction) is chief function of Shukra Dhatu. Prakriti in Ayurveda is the expression of person in context to morphology, Physiology, behavior and relation to ecology. Prakriti is unchangeable throughout the life. Prakriti is organized in accordance to attribute of predominant Dosha at the time of sperm ovum union. Different Prakriti, person varies individually, both physically and mentally. We assess the shukrasara purusha lakshana with different prakriti, which determines that which prakriti has more similarity with shukrasara purush with the reference of semen analysis. Aim & Objectives: To assess the Prakriti of different person with Prakriti Parikshana Patraka., To assess the Shukra Sara Parikshana by Shukra Sara Parikshana Patraka, To assess the relationship between the Shukra Sara Lakshana with different Prakriti. Methodology: Total 30 male volunteers between age group of 25 to 35 were selected, 10 from each Prakriti i.e. Vataj, Pittaj & kaphaj. There Prakriti & shukra Sarata is assessed by a special prepared proforma.
Construction industry in developing countries is reported to be insufficiently developed to meet the national development objectives and demands even though is an important player in the economy of Ethiopia. Small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs) are an important sector of any construction economy. The need for efficient SMMEs is well documented and cannot be over-emphasized. SMMEs are vital in their contribution to employment creation and value reorientation. Emerging small and medium contractors are reportedly beset with a prevalence of client dissatisfaction (Green, 1999). Notwithstanding, the emerging small and medium contractors face some serious challenges in their endeavor to deliver the infrastructure projects effectively by performing their contractual responsibilities. Considering that client satisfaction is the crucial variable underpinning current and future prospect in the building industry, it is necessary to investigate the challenges facing the emerging small and medium contractors¿ contractual responsibility.
