Many of these religious institutions' main goal is to fill their pockets using the Bible as their weapon of choice. This is not indicative of all religions, but there are many, especially mega-churches, that preach and teach falsehoods. These falsehoods have been the downfall of many families and friends and the cause of many ruined lives. Friendships that have been forged over years will cease to exist, brothers and sisters, parents and children, husbands, and wives. Simply because a spiritual leader has declared that those friends and family members could no longer be fellowshipped. Could the eyes of people, young and old alike, see and understand that they are not here to serve a man, but rather God? My story began in Jamaica, immigrated to England, and landed in the USA. Having lived in several countries, I take interest in meeting new people and learning about their country of origin. Knowing one's culture provides a better understanding and fosters respect. Though not a native of this great country, I appreciate the diversity and freedom that it offers (having served in the US Army). Coming from humble beginnings, I feel so grateful for what God has blessed me with: a beautiful wife, three beautiful girls, and five grandchildren (all girls). I have had the privilege of being a pastor, assistant pastor, and held various positions within different church bodies over the years. I received a Master of Science degree in Information Technology and taught college for approximately fifteen years. It is my wish that people will understand and recognize who their God really is.

I was told it is demonic and not to mess with it. It is Satan worship, they said. There are witches calling themselves mediums who communicate with evil spirits posing as our deceased loved ones. The Bible clearly teaches against Spiritualism I was told. If I get involved, even if I just attend one service at a Spiritualist church, I risk becoming possessed by a demon, my soul will be in jeopardy of being cast into Hell for all eternity when I die, I was warned. Whatever "Spiritualism" they were talking about I haven't found. The Spiritualism I have come to know is a Godly religion of love and righteousness. There's nothing evil or satanic about it. It helps us accept and appreciate what is now past in our life, it provides comfort and encouragement for today, and it gives us optimism and understanding of what lies ahead. Just as Jesus did, Spiritualism teaches us to love God and follow the Golden Rule. Spiritualism also encourages each of us to develop our spirit, our eternal self, through personal growth in self-awareness. Self-awareness bridges any gap existing between our finite mind and spirit. The challenge of self-awareness is open to everyone, the rewards for its success great if we are able to tap into our inner true wisdom that is of God.

Humanity has been through much, that is for sure. We have had quite a turbulent history. The reason for this is that we have been seeing each other as separate. Separate from each other and separate from Life itself. We have been running from a guiding principle of evolution that can best be described as 'survival of the fittest'. This means we have been seeing each other as competition in Life. We have had a problem with how we relate to each other. This is a problem that we cannot change through laws, war, religion, or current schooling. This is a spiritual problem, and the solution to this problem is also spiritual. It is to do with our beliefs about Life. The solution to this problem is the guiding principle of evolution, which is best described as 'we are all one'. When we see each other as unified, as the very same Life, we see the oneness in each other. I spent many years observing humanity and seeking a solution to our greatest problems. And the answer I found is in our unity. As a collective, when we can see our oneness and see each other as unified, we will then begin to implement new structures in our society that help us live together in peace and harmony.
