Enlightenment or Spiritual awakening is a psychological phenomenon where something of the mind develops, awakens, and unifies, and something else of the mind drops off or surrenders. Some desire spiritual awakening very directly and indeed, very intensely, but it is very difficult to achieve, because spiritual enlightenment is something that happens rather than something that we do.
