Empresaria, escritora, poeta, investigadora y compositora que adquiere el nombre de Teresita Pelaez Venessi, por su fallecido esposo, y por su apellido de origen italiano. Con un slido arraigo en Mexicali, Baja California, Teresita nace en Italia, en 1963. A los cuatro aos de edad es adoptada por una conocida familia, en la Ciudad de Mexicali. Su matrimonio con un ciudadano estadounidense le da la triple ciudadana, le ha permitido incursionar en varios pases, al igual que muchos empresarios de la frontera. Teresita es licenciada en administracin de empresas, por la Universidad Autnoma de Baja California. Su carrera universitaria, la estudi al mismo tiempo que desarrollaba su trabajo en la aduana de Mexicali. Actualmente cuenta con dos maestras, marketing en la ciudad de Italia y, la segunda, en recursos humanos por la Universidad de Toledo, en Espaa, revalidando parte de su carrera en San Diego State University. Su incursin en la poesa y en la literatura, la realiz de forma instintiva, autodidacta. Teresita siempre le ha interesado la actividad artstica y cultural. Se considera a s misma, buena lectora.
