Professor Wen-Hsien Wu was born in Shanghai, China in 1933. He began studying the expressive style of Chinese brush and ink painting in 1991. Then he started to study modern art with special attention to the composition, use of color and theories behind each school or movement. Gradually he integrated the learned knowledge and insight of his own life experience to develop artwork of his own style.
