Bag om Faith to Faith
We meet Onya Townsend, a young, faithful disciple of the Lord standing on the threshold of making a judgement she never thought she would have to make. Onya completed phase two of her three-part life plan to become a youth pastor of her church. With her eyes on her goal, she stayed focused through her senior year of high school and four years of college by volunteering as a youth group leader. Her dream was nearly complete when soon after graduation the church hired her as the acting youth pastor. Then a choice, premeditated by principalities, starts a web of decisions that would send her faith into a spiraling descent. She pushed past those God sends to her rescue, such as her brother, parents, and church. But her persistent nature becomes a tool for a self-guided quest to serve God her way, drawing from her circumstances. Twenty-one years later, a redeeming opportunity arises again, but will she soften her heart and trust God enough for the seed to take root? Valorie Adelia Scott holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in Creative Writing with a concentration on fiction. After writing three short stories, Faith to Faith is her first published novel. She is working on another book for publication next Spring. Valorie has raised four children, whom she has written and illustrated many stories for. Shortly after her last child graduated, she went back to school to pursue her passion for writing. Valorie and her husband live in a rural area of New Jersey.
