The play "Brancusi" by Stefan Dumitrescu is a spectacular and successful attempt to provide by the means of drama, in an artistic and philosophical show on stage, the personality of the great sculptor Constantin Brancusi and his work of genius, in a broad overview, a metaphor-parable, a reditative essay that helps the reader or the viewer to enter the depth of the great sculptor`s work and to understand in a coherent, suggestive and philosophical vision, the great artistic and epistemological approach of Brancusi. Stefan Dumitrescu`s attempt to include in a depth and solid grounded overview the whole work and life of Constantin Brancusi is certainly a bold approach, we believe that few writers would dare to do and complete it. In the vision of the playwright Stefan Dumitrescu, Brancusi seems even greater, and deeper, and more human, closer spiritually to us . The currents that dominated the history of philosophy, Materialism and Idealism, are long outdated. They can no longer explain anything. We need a third Great Philosophical Current in the History of Philosophy, which would lay the basis for modern science that will lay the foundation for a new horizon in human thinking and will bring a new, modern, scientific vision about matter and universe.

Senol Yagdi analysiert den Bildungsaufstieg von türkischstämmigen Studierenden der zweiten Generation in Österreich anhand leitfadengestützter Interviews. Aus einer bildungssoziologischen Perspektive werden die unterschiedlichen Einflussfaktoren, Ressourcen, Herausforderungen und Probleme der Zielgruppe auf ihrem Bildungsweg erforscht, um die Gelingensbedingungen für den Bildungsaufstieg und ihre damit verbundenen Handlungsstrategien zu ergründen. Der Autor verweist auf die Relevanz eines migrationsspezifischen kulturellen Kapitals als Möglichkeit der Habitustransformation im Rahmen einer intergenerationellen Transmission von Bildungsaufträgen.

This study investigates the process of the legislative reforms in Turkey between 1998 and 2005 in the context of gender mainstreaming. To illustrate the process, descriptively, the actors behind the amendments in the Turkish Constitution, Civil Code, Penal Code, Labor Law and the Law on the Protection of the Family are investigated based on the ¿Gender and Development¿ approach. The study exposes that international organizations (EU and UN), women¿s activism and state are incredibly influential in the process of the legislation stage of gender mainstreaming. The legislation stage of gender mainstreaming has been almost eventuated in Turkey, however, the second stage, which is institutionalization stage, has just started to be implemented. This study looks through the process using the "three legged correspondence".
