In this adventure featuring the boy detective, Thomas is invited to Mexico by his friend, Zach, who plays professional soccer. But after arriving in Mexico, Thomas notices that his friend is doing something really weird, like reading books about pickpocketing and, coincidentally, when fires occurring in their room, Zach never present there. Also, Zach reveals the boy detective's secret identity on live television and, consequently, they are kidnapped. Is Thomas going to the bottom of these mysteries, or figure out something horrible about Zach?
