Akademische Arbeit aus dem Jahr 2021 im Fachbereich Politik - Allgemeines und Theorien zur Internationalen Politik, Note: 1,3, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit betrachtet politische Implikationen von Rap-Musik aus sozialkonstruktivistischer Perspektive. Hip-Hop und Rap-Musik scheinen sich mit politischen Themen auseinanderzusetzen. Speziell Minderheiten nutzen die Kunstform zur Sichtbarmachung von Problemen und Benachteiligungen. Die Forschungsfrage, die sich hier stellt, lautet: "Inwiefern fungiert Rap als Sprachrohr für die Opfer sozialer Missstände?"Zur wissenschaftlichen Beantwortung wurde dieses Erkenntnisinteresse in eine Hypothese umformuliert. Abgeleitet hat sich diese aus dem zu erläuternden Forschungsstand, welcher sich mit Theorien des Sozialkonstruktivismus, der Performativität und der Visualität befasst, aber auch mit Aspekten der Politik von Ästhetik. In einem zweiten Teil des Forschungsstandes soll auf Hip-Hop und Rap als Forschungsfelder eingegangen werden. Methodisch lehnt sich die Arbeit an die qualitative Inhaltsanalyse nach Philipp Mayring an, wobei die Lieder "Changes" von Tupac und "m.A.A.d. city" von Kendrick Lamar analysiert und hermeneutisch auf ihre politischen Aspekte und Implikationen untersucht werden sollen. Die qualitative Analyse erfolgt durch die Codier Software "QDA Miner lite", deren Ergebnisse im vierten Kapitel diskutiert werden. Im Anschluss wird eine kritische Reflexion der Arbeit und Methoden erfolgen. Abschließend wird ein Fazit gezogen, die Hypothese bestätigt oder falsifiziert und versucht, eine Antwort auf das formulierte Erkenntnisinteresse zu geben.

Akademische Arbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Politik - Politische Theorie und Ideengeschichte, Note: 1,7, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit steht die folgende Forschungsfrage im Zentrum: "Wie entwickelt sich Hannah Arendts Souveränitätsbegriff und in welchem Kontrast steht dieser zu anderen Ideen von Souveränität der politischen Ideengeschichte?" Um diese Forschungsfrage zu beantworten, wird in dieser Arbeit der Begriff zu seiner Entstehung und in seinem frühesten Verständnis, nämlich dem von Jean Bodin und Thomas Hobbes, kurz beleuchtet. Anschließend wird der Begriff nach Auffassung von Jean-Jacques Rousseau erkläret, also im Zeitgeist der Aufklärung.Den größten Teil der Arbeit soll, wie durch die Forschungsfrage bereits erkennbar, Hannah Arendts Verständnis der Souveränität ausmachen. Die Ableitung der Forschungsfrage, welche an Arendts Idee von Souveränität und Herrschaft heranführen soll, geschieht im Anschluss an den ideengeschichtlichen Kontext des Souveränitätsbegriffes. Um Hannah Arendts Souveränitätsbegriff zu verstehen, bedarf es erst der Erklärung der Konzepte von Handeln und Freiheit, aus denen sich Arendts Souveränitätsbegriff erschließt. Dies soll hauptsächlich durch Anwendung hermeneutischer Methoden geschehen. Hierfür werden zwei primärliterarische Quellen verwendet. Zum einen der Essay "Freiheit und Politik" und zum anderen Arendts Buch "Über die Revolution", da sie sich in diesen beiden Werken so ausgiebig wie in keinem anderen mit Fragen von Politik, Freiheit und Souveränität beschäftigt. Ausgehend von diesen Interpretationen soll die gefolgerte Idee der Souveränität in den ideengeschichtlichen Kontext, bestehend aus den drei zuvor genannten Denkern, eingeordnet werden und die Arbeit schließlich mit einem Fazit fertig gestellt werden.

Bachelorarbeit aus dem Jahr 2022 im Fachbereich Medien / Kommunikation - Multimedia, Internet, neue Technologien, Note: 1,7, Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Forschungsgegenstand dieser Bachelorarbeit ist die Untersuchung der Wirksamkeit des sogenannten Podcast Advertising, der Werbung in Podcasts. Zunächst wird herausgearbeitet, inwiefern sich das Medium Audio-Podcast von traditionellen auditiven Medien unterscheidet, welche redaktionellen Attribute Podcasts als Teil der öffentlichen Kommunikation aufweisen, sowie welche ökonomischen und kommunikativen Leistungen Podcast-Sprecher*innen in Podcasts erbringen. Davon ausgehend wird sodann untersucht, wie die verschiedenen Formate werblicher Mitteilungen auf Podcast-Rezipierende wirken und welche Besonderheiten diese aufweisen.Die Relevanz für die kommunikationswissenschaftliche Forschung lässt sich darin begründen, dass die Nachfrage nach Podcasts nach wie vor steigt, vorwiegend von einer jungen Zielgruppe. Podcasts werden außerdem zunehmend kommerzialisiert und haben eine hohe ökonomische Verwertbarkeit. Diese kann unter anderem mit der hohen Aufmerksamkeit der Podcast-Hörer*innenschaft sowie deren hoher Werbeakzeptanz begründet werden. Die Werbewirksamkeit von Podcast Advertising wurde bisher in geringem Maße erforscht und die Literatur ist vor allem im deutschsprachigen Raum limitiert. Grund dafür ist unter anderem, dass werbetreibenden Unternehmen keine einheitlichen und aktuellen Reichweiteninformationen zur Verfügung stehen. Dies erschwert die Messung der Effektivität von Werbemitteilungen in Podcasts.Die zentrale Fragestellung der Bachelorarbeit wird durch ein narratives Literaturreview sowie durch Sekundäranalysen überprüft und soll Aufschluss darüber geben, wie werbliche Mitteilungen auf Podcast-Rezipierende wirken und wie sich die werblichen Mitteilungen von solchen in klassischen auditiven Medien unterscheiden. Außerdem wird herausgearbeitet, welche ökonomische Verwertbarkeit Podcast Advertising darstellt und welche Vorteile sich werbetreibenden Unternehmen bieten, wenn sie Podcast Advertising betreiben.

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2023 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,7, Universität Regensburg, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Am 2. Juni 1821 ereignete sich eine Tat, die von einem gewissen Johann Christian Woyzeck begangen wurde. Bei dieser Tat handelte es sich um einen Mord aus Eifersucht an Johanna Woost durch eben jenen besagten Woyzeck. Bei diesem Namen dürfte es wohl nicht nur bei Literaturwissenschaftlern und Germanisten klingeln, so gehört der "Woyzeck" von Georg Büchner doch zu einer der Lektüren, die heutzutage gerne an Schulen gelesen werden. Doch was hat der historische Kriminalfall von 1821 mit dem 1836, leider nur fragmentarisch, verfassten Drama ¿Woyzeck¿ von Georg Büchner zu tun? Aufschluss darüber könnten folgende Zeilen aus einem Brief Büchners an seine Eltern geben: ¿Der dramatische Dichter ist in meinen Augen nichts, als ein Geschichtsschreiber, steht aber über Letzterem dadurch, dass er uns die Geschichte zum zweiten Mal erschafft [¿]. Seine höchste Aufgabe ist, der Geschichte, wie sie sich wirklich begeben, so nahe wie möglich zu kommen.¿ In diesen Zeilen legt Büchner sein Selbstverständnis als Dichter dar und ermöglicht damit einen unmittelbaren Zugang zum Verständnis des ¿Woyzeck¿- Fragments. Nun stellt sich die Frage, inwieweit der historische Kriminalfall um Johann Christian Woyzeck Einfluss auf das Büchners ¿Woyzeck¿ hatte. Hierzu soll in dieser Arbeit zuerst der historische Hintergrund der Fälle Woyzeck, Schmolling und Dieß, die Büchner wohl alle als Quellen für sein Werk genutzt haben soll, beleuchtet werden. Im Anschluss daran soll ein kurzer Einblick in den zeitgeschichtlichen Hintergrund der Entstehung und die Überlieferung und die damit verbundene Editionsgeschichte des ¿Woyzeck¿ gegeben werden. Darauf folgt eine kurze Analyse der Dramenform und der Sprache des Stücks. Im Anschluss daran soll die Frage geklärt werden, ob der Mord an Marie aus Eifersucht begangen wurde, oder ob die Krankheit Woyzecks ihren Teil zu der Tragödie beigetragen hat. Dies führt abschließend zu der Frage, wie Büchner in seinem Drama mit der Schuldfrage, die auch im historischen Prozess gestellt wurde, umgegangen ist und ob er sie für den Leser abschließend klären konnte.

Today, almost 700 years later, we are in the midst of the global SARS-CoV-2 pandemic that has disrupted our everyday lives in almost every aspect. Having killed millions of people and infected hundreds of millions more, it will most likely deeply affect our society, economy, and culture, just like the Plague caused long-term cultural and social transformations. Like the Pestilence, the Covid-19 pandemic was an unexpected catastrophe that originated in East Asia and was brought to Europe through Italy. Of course, there are differences, like the total world population, the characteristics of the disease, the civilisational conditions and medical knowledge. However, despite an immense scientific, socio-economic and mental gap, there are still many similarities in the consequences of the disease. There are profound effects on the global economy, culture, and mobility of the Middle Ages and today. The economic activity of businesses and companies, travel, cultural events, and personal relations are all limited. These extreme changes have significantly impacted our way of life, attitudes, and behaviours. Even human reactions are similar in some ways. We can compare the psychological effect of living reckless, immoral lives in the 14th century to the so-called ¿corona parties¿ of 2021. The Great Mortality had intense effects on medieval Europe, including London, where it was particularly disastrous and claimed tens of thousands of lives. That is why the city serves as an exceptional example of the pandemic¿s consequences on all the various areas of medieval life. This paper examines the impact of the Black Death on London by first establishing an understanding of the plague, its origins, and its spread to the city. Then, it will portray the impact in a series of selected examples: the decrease in population, psychological, religious, and medical effects. Finally, the most important results are going to be summarised in the conclusion.

It continues to be the second most assigned text in the U.S. (Macaluso 279) and thus, is widely known. Amongst many other themes and motives, the role of the small town and its dynamics seem to be largely influential.This paper will consider the influence of small-town dynamics on the interpersonal relationships in "To Kill a Mockingbird", with a particular focus on the character Arthur ¿Boö Radley and his family. To do this, first, the American small town is considered. In accordance with the reality of the book, the focus will be set on the historical present of the novel which are the 1930s and the U.S. South. Correspondingly, the characteristics and dynamics of the small town are addressed afterwards, focusing on social hierarchies and prejudices, rumours, the hush-hush mentality, and unspoken norms and standards. The final theoretical part focuses on the representation of small towns in literature. In the practical section, the small-town dynamic in "To Kill a Mockingbird" will be examined in more detail, using examples from the novel to analyse whether Maycomb can be considered a typical American small town.Next, the question of the extent to which the Radley family can be aligned with small town etiquette will be examined, followed by a discussion of small-town virtues and their influence on Boo Radley and Scout Finch. The final section deals with the rumours surrounding Boo Radley. Through various examples, it will be shown that the small-town dynamic has a great impact on the interpersonal dynamics of the characters in Maycomb, especially in relation to the Radley family, and even influences those residents who would not typically act according to them. Overall, in keeping with the revolt from the village movement, Maycomb is portrayed in a way that highlights the drawbacks of small-town life.
