The Book of Genesis is literally a book of beginnings. The intent of the author is to explain the narrative mode of the Holy Spirit so stories like the parables of Jesus works at many levels. Think of the Book of Genesis as a snapshot of the whole: we see Adam, Noah and the Patriarchs seated in the front row representing God's promise to Abraham: "In thee shall at the families of the earth be blessed (Ge.12:3). In the back row what we see are multitudes, as fulfilled. Jesus, who as the light of the world gives it clarity. Consequently when the Spirit discusses the patriarchs, focus is on the nation of Israel but other nations serve as a foil to it. For instance God places Joseph in Egypt so the nation of Israel could be helped in time of a great famine. Similarly at the birth of Jesus God secures a safe hiding place there for the Holy Family. God's Will sees all as part of his promise and in Time: time in which Joseph and Jesus were placed varies by more than a millennia. Yet these are all set in one timescale that is God's Time. It has a bearing on us. In accepting Jesus Christ as the Saviour we have been inducted into the picture. Adoption (Ep.1:5) means transcending time and place that limit our earthly lives for heavenly places. From the same author: Marginalia, a concise guide to the Bible in 2 volumesThe Immanuel FactorAvailable as paperback/kindle

This concise guide to the Bible is presented from two standpoints of God the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit has set these two as single narrative where the Will or Intent of God is shown as coming from the Son since he is the Image of the 'Invisible God(Col.1:15)'Coherence in the Scripture is the work of God the Spirit and maintained so the Son of man 'is before all things and by him all things consist'. Adam is thus an antitype of Jesus who is qualified as the last Adam. He is the spiritual rock; and bread from heaven. The entire scriptural unity testifies this: the Bible is from God to man. In short Marginalia: a concise guide to the Bible favours a faith based approach to understand the word of God. Faith as St Paul says comes from 'hearing by the word of God (Ro.10:17)."

"Our newness of life begins with the risen Christ and never ends.."The Immanuel Factor is abundant life for everyone whose life is hid in Christ. The author explains its practical application and how we acquire the mind of Christ. Newness of life assures believer that he is risen with Christ. How can we not have abundant life if we were made citizens in heavenly places? Our conversation is in heaven (Phili.3:20)and secondly "While we are at home in this body, we are absent from the Lord (2 Co.5:6)" These verses ought to be set 'before our frontlets between our eyes.' We are yoked together with Christ in service; Even as the Son of man did not abuse his position we shall serve in whatever state we are found so our abundant life flows out. As our Redeemer Lord is, so shall we ever be.The Immanuel Factor is a must read for those who wishes to live a full and abundant life in this world. The author of Illustrated Omar Khayyam (2015) has compiled miscellaneous poems composed since and a large portion of which makes up the Book. Poetry of modern world cannot escape the jingle of the mass consumerism. With Poetry in My Mind the author has more or less struck a middle road between the two worlds of heart and head; without heart where is music? Without head what is the point? So the reader shall get value for his money. Unlike 365 quatrains following a strict rhyme pattern in his take on Omar Khayyam, the poems chosen for this book are mostly free verse, Haiku and parodies of some well-known poems. His love poems as well as giggle poetry point to his outlook in life.
