The only place they could be hidden from view was in the wooded area to his left. It all started off so well but left Deb in a filthy cell with nothing to do but count the cockroaches, which there were many, the fetid water she was given gave her stomach cramps. He managed to lift her onto his shoulder, noticing how light she was - a bonus in a way - as he managed to move quickly across the road.
