Conflict In The Church is a definite ministry must have. When dealing with people conflict is bound to arise and the setting of a church does not mean it is a conflict free zone. In the church setting conflict often gets brushed aside, rumors swept under the rug until its a full blown scandal. In this book you will see how to deal with conflict before it deals with you.
Ted Kelly is just an average Aussie bloke, until one day he's visited by an angel, an angel who tells him the world needs to hear the message of the True Blue Way. Ted's new mission has him setting out across the country, informing people they need to change their ways. At first the Australians are resistant to Ted's dire warnings. But, in time, they and countless others will all firmly agree there is no better bloke than Ted flamin' Kelly. This biography of an Australian prophet is written in verse, and is not for the faint of humour.
Australia is divided into three nations: Original Australia, Contemporary Australia, and United Multicultural Australia. From the first of these and into the others ventures a young indigenous exile named Crijjibah Clibe. Crijji learns the tribes beyond his own are filled with strange peoples and wonderful magic. But he soon comes to realise, people aren't as different as they first appear to be. This novel, set in an unspecified future, took thirteen years to write, and was inspired by the question, What will become of Australia's indigenous people, given the many dysfunctions so plaguing their respective societies? The author is a native of Alice Springs, a town in the direct centre of Australia; a town that is a crucible for the many conflicts crashing throughout the Western World. His experience as a social worker - predominately with indigenous youth - imbues the story with authenticity and pathos. The direction the story takes is a surprising one, far more cerebral than the author ever anticipated. Via metaphor and notions of the metaphysical, it brings forward a new theory as to why present-day Westerners are behaving so strangely.

Captain Carlos is going on his first vacation. Having only visited family out of the state, the Captain isn't sure of what vacation is, exactly. However, his parents are excited to help him learn just how awesome vacation is and how each new adventure helps him to see the world a little differently. "Vacation Time!" is a part of the 'A Captain Carlos Adventure' series. Carlos is a 6 year old boy that loves his family, sports, school and adventure. Some adventures are fun and others teach Captain Carlos how to be a better person or deal with unfavorable times, that may be unavoidable. This series is a major tool for parents and children. Through the stories told, children will learn about how to move forward finding value in and seeing the bright side of life, no matter how the journey unfolds. It also helps parents to shape how their children approach these situations positively, if it ever impacts their families, friends or classmates.
