My mom gave birth to me, but my dad was the one that taught me life, to become the successful woman that I am today. This book is about my dad's survival skills his grandma and my great-grandma taught him to not only survive but also help others. The key here is, by sharing and helping others, you remained blessed. By constantly praying, you keep the devil away for good, you stay positive and focused, and you get to accomplish the things you set your mind on by not letting greed get the best of you. When you give tithes in church, support others, and do good deeds for people less fortunate than you, you never lack. You get to reap what you sowed. You sow nothing, you reap nothing. You sow good, you reap good. You sow bad, you reap bad. It's part of life, plain and simple. Even if people falsely accused you, remain silent, pray, and justice will always prevails. There is no need to waste time. The mind is a terrible thing to waste. Say what you need to do and follow through by taking actions. When there are no actions taken; nothing happens. Give love and receive love. Give respect and get respect. Give money as gift and receive hundred folds from what you put out. My ex-boss from hell accused me of stealing; he shall pay dearly for all his evil doings, and I blessed the devil.Do things for God, not for mankind. You do for mankind you will never do. Find a great mentor, be a great mentor. Show compassion for others and receive it back in return. Live life to the fullest. Time wasted will never return. Nothing forced can never be natural. Nothing fake can never be natural. Nothing natural can ever be faked.Life is what you make of it. Plant seeds in order to harvest them later. Plant nothing and get nothing in return. Who you hang with is who you become. Think before you act. Don't ever judge a book by its cover. Instead, try to read the book and see what you might be missing. Don't hate, appreciates. Hate attracts hate. Love attracts love. It takes more energy to hate than to love. The following are what made me who I am today. I just thought of sharing so they can open your eyes just as they did mine. Do what you love; die doing it; love yourself enough to treat yourself right. Do not allow someone to use and abused you; it's low self-esteem. Be all that you can be. Know your worth, period.

I wrote the first version of this book a month after Kenneth passed away. We were blaming ourselves for not following up on his sister's intuition. She had been his voice since they were born. I was mad at the world. I couldn't bring our Kenneth back. I knew it was a sign of depression. I encouraged the kids to seek help. I didn't feel like I needed help. I decided to write this book and lashed out at the world. As soon I finished the book, I felt so much better. I thought that I miraculously got healed. The devil is a liar. I sent Be the Head to two publishers, but they denied it. I was not even told a reason. When my cooking book was done, I sent it to both publishers; it was accepted right away. As a spiritual being, I practice meditation as soon as I finish my prayers. I heard a voice say, "Everyone who will read the book will know that it was made for a good cause, but they will also be able to tell that you were angry at the world when you wrote it. Rewrite it now. You will know and feel the difference. Being mean and bitter isn't who you are. Your dad raised you better. Your other books; Kenneth's Creole Cajun Creative Kitchen Recipes, and As Reality Strikes don't portray you as such. Why would you want Be the Head to give people the wrong impression of you? Instead, make it a tool that will help others." I obeyed the call. My spirit guide never fails me. This book will help raise awareness for the need to report abuse of any shape or form right away and a way for everyone to get CPR certification by making it a must. Seek help for yourself. Recognize the early stages of depression, seek help for yourself if needed; then get help for someone you love. Share good information to improve the lives of other people. Together we can make this world a better place. Remain blessed.

My dad wasn't perfect. He was a dad of great structures and principles. He put all his kids through school so they can feed themselves. He taught us survival skills. He asked me to share his simple methods through a dream with all his kids. If they use it, which I did, they will know it works. If they didn't, they will be a slave to someone forever and will always be treated like trash. I apply the same tactic it continues to work for me. I never stop using it.Dad was an herbalist. So am I. He was gifted like me-a clairvoyant. We are able to see the future and warning signs of danger. Like me, my dad was a Creole chef, but I also do Cajun food. He did real estate and business. So do I. As a child, I used to dance with Dad, and all the pain would go away. As a kid, I danced and sang on the boat every Thursday for the tourists.I used to dance with Kenneth every night to put him to sleep and used that same therapy for me now. Whenever I finished a project, I went to the club and dropped it like it's hot. As a dancer, I was the life of the party from the moment I walked through the door to the minute I left.I used therapy daily.Kenneth was a happy kid. I became a happy person. I used to do funny faces so he could swallow his meds. I used them daily at work with other kids to put a smile on their faces. I gave and received love freely and daily by making a difference in people's lives.Make someone laugh today. Express the followingA things daily to people you come in contact with, and it will be given back to you in the mighty name of Jesus. Give someone a hug, give an honest compliment; praise someone on a job well done, you are amazing, you have a great smile; you have a great vibe; you are the best; make a clean joke. Make someone laugh, act like a child of God continue to do righteous; don't just say you are one a child of God. Be one, be honest to yourself first; before you can be honest to GodA and others. Despite the unrighteousness done to youA by mankind in return. Respect yourself, respect God; respect others. As a result you will have a blissfulA life, and the sky is the limit to youA always.

I titled this manuscript Kenneth's Creative Creole-Cajun Kitchen Recipes for many reasons. First, because I am a Creole-Cajun chef. Second, all the recipes listed here I used to make for Kenneth on a tight budget when he was alive. I decided to put them in this book. In another book, I wrote about my struggles with Kenneth for other parents and caretakers to benefit from and also to help Kenneth's twin sister Kelssey to keep her last promise to her brother. She promised him that she will become a doctor so she can help disable need kids like him by forming a foundation named after him. She is now a teacher working with disabled children while going to school to become a doctor as planned. The proceeds of these books will help keep the foundation open without relying on charity alone. As a devoted mom, I will continue to make the sacrifices necessary in order to make things happen in her journey to give back. I asked God to give me the grace and the wisdom to persevere and to see that wish come true. After all, it's for a really good cause. Thanks for reading. God bless.
