The Analytical-Literal Translation of Bible (ALT) is translated by Gary F. Zeolla. The ALT is contained in seven volumes. The original grammar of the text is retained as much as possible. Any words added for clarity are bracketed, so nothing is added without it being indicated as such."Analytical" refers to the detailed "analysis" done on the grammar of the text. The grammar is then translated in a way which brings out "nuances" of the original text that are often missed in traditional translations.In addition, "analytical" refers to the aids that are included within the text which enable the reader to "analyze" and understand the text. Such information is bracketed. It includes the following:1. Alternative translations for words and phrases.2. Possible figurative meanings or paraphrases of words and phrases.3. Modern-day equivalents for measurement and monetary units and time designations.4. Explanatory notes.5. Cross references."Translation" refers to the conversion of the original Greek text into English. Modern-day English is used, and despite its literalness, the ALT is a relatively easy to read and understand.Versions Notes:The version of the ALT: OT published in 2023 is a corrected text, not a full new edition. Only minor corrections have been made, plus the cover and appendixes have been updated.The "Regular" paperback and hardback versions of the ALT: OT are printed on 8-1/2"x11" pages in double columns using Times New Roman 10-point font. But a Personal Size Version is also available . It is printed on 6" x 9" pages in single columns using the same font size. Many requested this smaller page size, so I am making it available. However, due to the smaller page size, the number of pages and thus the cost of the book is greater.

The United States of American is being torn about by political differences more than any time since the 1960s and maybe since the Civil War of the 1860s. This division was amplified by political events in the summer to fall of 2018. This time period could prove to be seminal in the history of the United States. It could precipitate this country into ever widening divisions, or it could be when the country realized it needed to pull together and heal the splits in our society.Democrats, liberals, leftists, and the mainstream media are on the left, while President Trump, Republicans, and conservatives are on the right, with the American people caught in the middle and being forced to choose sides, with no middle ground seemingly possible.This tearing apart came to the forefront and was amplified during the confirmation proceedings for Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh. Democrats, aided by their allies on the left, pulled out all the stops and every dirty trick in the book to try to derail his confirmation, while Republicans and the rest of the right dug in and did what was necessary to ensure his confirmation.That fight was sure to have an effect on the 2018 midterm elections. But before the country got to Election Day, several additional events occurred that further tore the country apart and which would also affect the midterms, from caravans of illegal immigrants, to pipe bombs, to yet another mass shooting in the USA. Then after the midterms, yet more events occurred or continued that further tore the USA apart.This book will overview the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation proceedings in detail. It will then overview these additional major events that occurred up to the end of November 2018.

Joseph R. Biden Jr. was inaugurated as President of the United States (POTUS) on January 20, 2021. In his inauguration speech, Biden gave glowing remarks about his goal being to unite America and to "Build Back Better." But in fact, his main goal seems to have been to reverse everything his predecessor, Donald J. Trump, accomplished during his four years as President.Never mind if a policy was benefiting America, if Trump did it, it had to be reversed. This reversal of Trump's policies did little to unite and benefit America. Instead, Biden's policies began alienating the half of Americans who supported Trump for those very policies.By reversing Trump's beneficial policies, Biden began destroying America, as his presidency began to be failing. Biden's early actions also set the stage for more failures later in his presidency, so it is important to remember them.On the day Biden was inaugurated, he took over the @POTUS account on Twitter and began tweeting profusely. His tweets promoted his "Build Back Better" policies. But with them being a reversal of Trump's policies, they were often subtle attacks on Trump and his supporters.This two-volume set reproduces Biden's tweets for the first year of his presidency. It also includes my comments I posted on Twitter in response to his tweets. Some of my comments were added later and reflect later developments. I have also added an occasional "Extended Comment" to provide further context and commentary to some tweets.Volume One of this two-volume set recorded all of Biden's tweets from January 20, 2021 to the end of July 2021. This Volume Two covers his tweets from the beginning of August 2021 to January 20, 2022. These two volumes are followed up by a three-volume set on Biden's second year.

This book reproduces tweets and retweets by Donald J. Trump from November 2, 2020, the day before Election Day, to January 8, 2021, the day Trump was permanently banned from Twitter. With that ban, this book will serve as a record of his final two months plus of tweets.This book also covers a controversial phone call by Trump and the major speeches Trump gave in January 2021. That phone call and those speeches expand upon his tweets.The tweets and retweets in this book are presented in chronological order. Most of the tweets are about the 2020 election. But some are about other topics. Those have also been included.Many of the election-related tweets were marked by Twitter with the disclaimer, "This claim about election fraud is disputed." I have not always included this declaimer, but it is important to remember. Many of Trump's claims in his tweets about fraud or irregularities in the 2020 election are indeed disputed. The same goes for Trump's claims in his Georgia phone call and speeches.This does not necessarily mean they are false. But evidence needs to be provided to support them, and that is lacking in many cases. In my comments, I will mention which grievances are valid, which are not, and which are difficult to determine their validity. I also provide background information for the tweets or comments as needed.But whether valid or not, Trump's claims of election fraud were said to have led to an insurrection in Washington DC on January 6, 2021. I call that event the "Capitol Building Uprising," for reasons that will be explained later. But here, reading this book will help the reader to decide if in fact Trump's tweets and speeches led to that tragic event.

This book will look in-depth at what the Bible has to say on sexual types of relationships and related issues. By this is meant: dating, pre-martial sex, marriage, divorce, re-marriage, martial sex, extra-martial sex, homosexuality, polygamy, incest, abortion, and birth control. This study will go through the Scriptures systematically, looking at relevant passages of Scripture in order. The passages are written out, with the bulk of this book being simply the Scriptures, so the reader can see for yourself what the Bible teaches on various sexual issues. Explanations and interpretations are provided for each passage to aid the reader in understanding the Scriptures, but the emphasis is on the Scriptures themselves. This format will enable the reader to draw conclusions about what the Bible as a whole has to teach on these personal and very relevant issues.

The Analytical-Literal Translation of the New Testament: Devotional Version (ALTD) is derived from the Analytical-Literal Translation of the New Testament: Third Edition (ALT3).The purpose of the ALTD is to provide a translation of the Greek New Testament that will enable the reader to come as close to the Greek text as possible without having to be proficient in Greek. And the name of the ALTD reflects this purpose. "Literal" refers to the fact that the ALTD is a word for word translation. All words in the original text are translated-nothing is omitted. The original grammar of the text is retained as much as possible. Any words added for clarity are bracketed, so nothing is added without it being indicated as such. "Analytical" refers to the detailed "analysis" done on the grammar of the text. The grammar is then translated in a way which brings out "nuances" of the original text that are often missed in traditional translations.In addition, "analytical" refers to the aids that are included in 4,300 footnotes which enable the reader to "analyze" and understand the text. Such information includes the following:1. Alternative translations for words and phrases.2. Possible figurative meanings or paraphrases of words and phrases.3. Modern-day equivalents for measurement and monetary units and time designations.4. Explanatory notes.5. References for Old Testament quotations and other cross-references.The main difference between ALTD and ALT3 is that in this version the above analytical information is footnoted, while in ALT3 such information was included within brackets within the text. That made the information readily available, but it made the text awkward to read and to quote from. By putting this information in footnotes, the ALTD is a much easier to read version.Also, on rare occasions, when the literal translation is excessively awkward or hard to understand, it is footnoted and a figurative or less literal rendering is used in the text to make the ALTD more readable. When this is done, the literal translation is footnoted. The occasions when this is done are few and far between, and with the literal translation being footnoted, the ALTD is still a very literal translation of the New Testament.With being both a literal and a readable version, the ALTD is the ideal Bible version for reading the Bible in both a "study" and a "devotional" manner. It is also ideal for public reading, quoting, or for the person new to the Bible.

This fifth and final volume of the "Analytical-Literal Translation of the Old Testament (Septuagint)" contains the "extra" books found in Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Bibles as compared to Jewish and Protestant Bibles. There is much debate on whether these books are inspired by God or not. Only by reading them in a literal translation can you make a decision on this controversial issue. These books were written from 200 B. C. to 50 A.D. So whether inspired or not, they provide insight into Jewish history and thought shortly before and during the time of New Testament events and thus provide important background to the New Testament.

This book is a companion to the Analytical-Literal Translation: Third Edition (ALT3). It will help the reader to understand the reasons for the unique translations often seen in the ALT. This Companion Volume is divided into four sections. The first section provides background information for the ALT, answers frequently asked questions about the ALT, and overviews the ALT's unique features. The second section consists of "Glossary and Translation Notes" which explain the reasons for how important words are translated in the ALT. The third section is an eight-part "Grammatical Renderings" section. This section explains the reasons for the unique translation of Greek tenses seen in the ALT. This section is detailed enough to be used as a primer on Greek grammar. The fourth section contains lists of "Significant Textual Variants" and "Alternate Byzantine Text Readings." These lists will be of great value to the person interested in studying the issue of textual variants.
