Surveys indicate that approximately 80 percent of the world's population believe in an afterlife. It is also the belief of most religions of the world that there is some form of afterlife. The belief in an afterlife is founded on faith. We do not have earthly proof that an afterlife exists.It is a Christian belief that the afterlife will be a life that extends throughout eternity. Because afterlife is an eternal existence, it would seem that a significant percentage of people would want to understand more of that existence and adhere to what is necessary to achieve the best place in life hereafter. Sadly, all humans are flawed humans, and the attractions of earthly matters is a distraction from greater emphasis on eternal life. Faith is both a mystery and very individualistic. It is impossible for one human to judge the faith of another human being. The depth and sincerity of our faith will be a judgment made solely by our Creator and will determine our place in life hereafter. During his time on earth our Lord made it clear that observance of his two greatest commandments was necessary to gain a place in His Kingdom. His first commandment was to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and the second was to love our neighbor as ourselves. This book examines additional ways to help us stay on The Path to Paradise.

Life, death, judgment and eternity are certainties that all human beings will face. In a humanistic world it is an unfortunate truth that many humans ignore all those certainties, except life. When ignoring those certainties, humans are also prone to focus on that which brings success in life but not death, judgment or eternity. Because our life on earth determines our place in eternity, it seems that wisdom would dictate a life that focuses on obtaining an eternal life of bliss. As long ago as the time the Old Testament was written we were told that fear of God is the foundation of wisdom. We are foolish when we think otherwise. We are also sinners when we believe otherwise. It is the wise human who understands that it is God who needs to be the focus of our life. When God is the focus of our life, we need not fear our place in eternity.

Our knowledge of God the Father is very limited. Because the Son of God, Jesus Christ is the Person of the Blessed Trinity, who took on humanity and lived among us, it is He to whom humans can best relate.Nevertheless, as maker of heaven and earth, as well as all things visible and invisible, our Father in Heaven is highly deserving of our thoughts and prayers.Although our knowledge of the Father is very limited, it is the purpose of this book to examine, as best as we are able, the magnificent and immeasurable Kingdom of our Heavenly Father.

There is no greater need in the Catholic Church today than to assist our younger generations in understanding the Holy Eucharist. Such understanding is crucial to having greater participation in their Catholic faith. It is church teaching that the consecration of the Eucharist changes the nature of bread and wine into the body and blood of our Savior, Jesus Christ. The church calls this change transubstantiation, which is a miracle because it is a supernatural event. The miracle of the Eucharist extends to the linkage of our soul to our Divine Lord, whereby we share in his divinity. Divinity is a mystery because it is beyond the nature of earthly things. The transformation of our souls to become more closely aligned with our Divine Lord is an extension of the miracle of transubstantiation. The acceptance of church teaching as regards the Eucharist is an embrace of his words at the last supper to do this in memory of me. It is the optimal way humans have to express their love of their Redeemer.
