"It's life Jim, but not as we know it." This is Royal Life, and it isn't anything like Bobby the ghost writer had expected, but then Bobby comes from the other side of the tracks and he never in a million years thought he'd end up here, working this gig. Prince Bill, the heir to the throne, is despondent at the constant sniping and moaning that his younger brother, the Ginger Whinger has embarked upon. His younger sibling is aided and abetted by Morgan, the self-proclaimed Princess of the People, and there seems to be no end to their campaign of slights against the Monarchy. So, not to be outdone, Princess Cathy galvanises her husband into action. If Horrible Henry can write a revelatory and ridiculous biography, then so can Billy. Only Cathy's plan is to trump Henry and his scheming wife and outmanoeuvre them, once and for all. How? By writing the most outlandish and far-fetched biography of all time. Enter Bobby Handwork, the slightly famous writer of books of an oddball, bizarro, far-fetched fantasy nature. His landmark novel, Breastworld is a story about Norm, a pensions actuary who lives on his girlfriend's nipple. That ground breaking piece of subversive art is about to be eclipsed by his interpretation of Prince Bill's life story, Hot Heir! All's well that ends well, but can Bobby bank on a happy ending? With warring and scheming royals involved, probably not!

Things have a habit of getting worse before they get better. Sam knew that and now she felt like living proof of it. Still, she tried not to tempt providence with the well-used spell of summoning... surely things can't get any worse. Because they can and they do and right now they are going to get a lot, lot worse. It all starts with a mass shooting at a local school. This sort of thing doesn't happen in a sleepy English village... but now it has and this is just the start. Then, Sam gets a note from someone calling himself The Tuesday Killer. The note is a warning and threat, and it carries with it a stench from beyond the grave. Can Sam stop this killer, not before he kills again because he will and there is little Sam can do about that, but before he gets to be unstoppable? Something has slipped through from the other side and it is just getting started, it calls itself the Tuesday Killer, but unless it is stopped all of our days are numbered.

This is a book about Gary. Gary is a typical forty something in a typical middle management job. He has the wife and the kids and the dog. He has all the things he expected to have by the time he reached his forties and that includes the nice house and the decent car. It's not enough though. You see, Gary is in a rut. Gary might have all the things he expected to have, but still life isn't going well for him. Not as well as he thinks that it should be going anyway. This is a book about a book. So he buys himself a book and reads it in an attempt to do something about the doldrums he finds himself in. The book turns out not to be a quick fix, which can only be a good thing, right? Based very loosely around the experience of readers of self-help books, Rules to Live By explores one of the many crossroads in life and how one person tries to navigate their way on to the next chapter of their life in an attempt to find fulfilment along the way. Jed Cope is the author of twelve other books including the Ben and Thom series of books and also the thrillers, Two For The Show and The Entrepreneurs' Club.

The boys are really up against it this time. Strange days stalk Ben and Thom like the truth stalks politicians, which makes for some great degree of awkwardness and discombobulation, but at least it keeps them honest. Ben and Thom, not the politicians, whoever heard of an honest politician?! Then, a passing moon gets in on the stalking act. Only this moon isn't a casual stalker, it just happens to have a diploma in stalking and a PhD in world ending violence. Casually, it plucks Ben's girlfriend, Jennifer, from the cosiness of the home they share on the idyllic Planet Clair, whilst she, Jennifer that is, indulges in her new passion, writing sweet romance, and off it toddles into the vast expanse of the forever night of space and that is that. Only it isn't that, because Ben and Thom are not the types to leave things be and allow a cheeky passing moon to abduct a former Warmongerian war lizard. That kind of thing is just not on, and Ben and Thom are going to give this moon what for! Which is just as well, because this is no ordinary moon and it really is up to no good. And what of that sweet romance of Jennifer's? What's that all about? Some things are a foot. Other's are a leg, and there are some other items that look suspiciously like body parts, but it was dark and I didn't have the stomach for it, not on my own and certainly not after the day I've had... So best you read Ben and Thom's next scintillating and absurd adventure and find out more about their random escapades in the crazy thing they call life. Will that dastardly moon get it's comeuppance, and will Thom get over his morbid and chronic dislike of sweet romance? There's only one way to find out! And don't worry about those body parts. It was probably just the dirty laundry. Some of it escapes at night...

There's a new vampire in the village and she's hungry for more than just blood... There were stories of vampires in this modern world. Many, many stories of the mythical creatures who drank blood in order to survive. All of them varied in their description of what a vampire was. Many of these fictional vampires seemed weak and afraid, or they were really humans masquerading as something different and therefore cool, and appealing to what people liked to refer to as their dark side. All of them were wrong. They were way, way off the mark. Isobel knew this because she was a vampire and those stories couldn't possibly be true because no one had ever encountered her true nature and escaped to tell any tales ever again. Besides, Isobel affected anyone that she set her sights on and no one had ever really seen her true self. They did what people did so often, they saw what they wanted to see, so Isobel helped them along in that delusional state. She gave them what they wanted and in return she took what she needed. That may not have been a fair deal, but it certainly worked for her. The appeal of the life that teems around Isobel is strong, and her desires are not restricted to feeding. She prefers hot meals and she knows the best way to get the blood pumping in her victims, and they know what works even better than she does. It seems this is all that they ever want. There is something incredibly alluring about Isobel, her victims come to her willingly, they come with only one thing on their mind and she indulges them and herself, taking her time before she and her prey are more than ready... Sex and death are a heady and intoxicating mix, in that moment there is nothing else. Then, for Isobel's victims, there is nothing more. Vampire, Isobel, is ancient, enduring and darkly powerful. She creeps up on her victims and insinuates herself in their lives, drawing them along towards their end. Isobel is also a vampire bored of her life, She finds the drudgery of her existence tedious. Too long has she lived in the shadows and followed a routine designed to limit her exposure to the modern world. Not only does she crave blood, she craves the life that surrounds her... Averse to the risk and the dangers of the hordes of people who fill the planet and cause her constant anxiety, Isobel finds a quiet and secluded village. A place where she can start again, reinvent herself and make a new life in a bid to fill the hole in her life. She hankers after a quiet life with meaning. She believes she has found it when she finds the sleepy and secluded village of Brokmaster......but has she? Is the quiet life really going to work for Isobel?

Whatever it is that women want... It isn't Sam. It is not that Sam is unlucky in love, it's more that he doesn't have a clue. Worse still, he doesn't even have a clue as to why he doesn't have a clue, because obviously, if he did have a clue, then he would have made changes to his life, and better still reinvented himself so that he was quite the catch. Having come out of a long term relationship in a painful, car crash sort of way, Sam has licked his wounds and waited until he was ready to risk his heart and find love all over again. This is a far more pleasant way of describing Sam losing the house he had lived in as a bachelor. Sam's house. Sam's home. The home he chose to share with Sally when they met and sort of drifted together and then became an item. The house she'd taken half of, with no regard or consideration to all the costs involved in ending everything, selling the house, upping sticks and starting again from scratch. Well, she'd kept the house, which made her side of things pretty simple and straight forward. And Sam moved out, with the intention of starting again at some point in the uncertain future. Only starting again was much easier said than done. Did Sam really want to put himself through the crazy assault course of dating, only to go through the same heartbreak all over again...?
