Pierre Naya was awarded the Military Medal for his extraordinary bravery while serving as a medic in the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) in the Falklands War in 1982, when he worked to help critically-injured soldiers, despite his own injuries, after the bombing of the Sir Galahad.
