This all takes place in the 1940's, but the fun is ageless.

The brothers run across a brewing range war that has them in the path of a stampeding herd of steers and an encounter with one of Brent's old enemies, Black Jack Haggerty. The fourth story in Mason's Sackett family series. A taut Western with plenty of action in an easy to read style.
Twin brothers separated by the War Between the States return find themselves on opposite sides of the law after the War. Brent has left a trail of dead bodies with Brian winding up taking the blame. There will be one more book in the series. The name is yet to be determined.

The detective soon finds himself involved in cases that had originally been described as 'suicides' or accidental overdoses. He also ran across information that President John F. Kennedy was shot by several men and Lee Harvey Oswald may have been set up to take the blame. When Weigel is 'summond' to Las Vegas by Johnny Roselli a known member of the Mafia, things really heat up. The counterfeit Elvis scheme is also running into trouble. Jesse Garon Presley, who is taking Elvis's place due to his throat injury has a drug problem that is threatening to blow the lid off the switching of roles. This is the third book in the 'Counterfeit Elvis' series and will leave the reader wanting more.

Frank Corrigan is a Homicide Detective in San Francisco. He and his partner, Lee Fralick, are assigned to investigating the double murder of a friend of Fralick and what turns out to be his mistress / business partner in a call girl ring. Obviously the number one suspect becomes the dead man's wife who claims to have been unaware of her husband's secret life. When other people connected loosely to the murder victims also start turning up dead, the case really heats up. This story has more twists and turns than the crookedest road in the world and has the reader baffled as to who the killer is. Shadows of doubt are cast on many of those under suspicion.
Clay McAlister is on the trail of three men who robbed a stagecoach his fiance was traveling on and caused her death. He trails them to El Paso, Texas where he runs into an old acquaintance of his, who just so happens to be the head of the gang who robbed the stagecoach his fiance was on. When he learns that there is a large money shipment from the east coming to the bank in El Paso, he figures out that is why the gang is in town. When another gang shows up, things begin to get very interesting. With both gangs set on getting the money there is only one way it can be settled...and that is by...gunsmoke. A good read for the western fan.

Bateman was partner's in a saloon in Tucson, Arizona with Crystal Bell, but had taken their entire savings and left the area under the guise of looking for another saloon to purchase. The trail leads to a shootout between Butler and Bateman. This is another fast moving western from Mason that will keep the reader turning pages.

An action packed Western that is the first book in a four book series. A must read for the Western enthusiast.

Dan Wilder wins a trip to the Great Northwest aboard the coal powered train, the Oregon Express. Two lumberjacks are killed on the way north and Dan becomes embroiled in their murders. The fun begins from the first page and continues right on through to the explosive ending. A good read for everyone.

When you add a Cheyenne war party, a gang of bank robbers, an old friend, and a pretty woman who just happens to be the sister of the two feuding brothers, you have the makings of a great story. Mason has penned another Western to keep the reader turning page after page to see what happens next. A good read for the Western fan.

When an old flame of the sheriff's right hand man comes to Durango, the sheriff knows that she's bringing trouble with her. A taut, action packed western that is a page turner.
When Chris Harper arrives in Abilene, Kansas on a wintry night he encounters a drunken Indian who has shot the town marshal and ran all the patrons out of the Alamo Saloon. Harper senses that all is not right in Abilene and others who reside in the cow town may be involved. Harper is surprised when quite by accident he runs into his older brother, Monte, whom he has not seen in years. There is a warm reunion takes place and Monte joins up with Chris in his search to find the 'silent' gang members who live in Abilene Town.
Return to Cutter's Creek is a continuation of an adventure story about a man's hunt for two men that killed the man that raised him. His pursuit of them leads him into other conflicts that spawn new action and hatred. The four book series can also be read singly as complete stories, but are threaded together with an underlying theme that violence begets violence.
John Wesley Creed rode into a Montana valley unaware of a feud that was taking place between several families of homesteaders and Chet Riggins. Creed, a stranger to the area, took the side of the homesteaders and that put him on the bad side of Riggins. When Creed was forced to kill some of Riggins riders the rancher sent for a gunfighter by the name of Drake. Tensions mounted as the two sides prepared for hostilities and grew even more tense when Drake arrived. When Creed began to have certain feelings towards the wife of one of the homesteaders he knew it was time to move on. He would not leave, however, until he knew the families were freed from the hatred Chet Riggins held for them. A fast paced western that will keep the readers turning pages.
Darren Masters and Jacquelyn Long were high school sweethearts who decided to date others to test their true feelings for one another. When Jackie begins dating one of their classmates who also attends the same church she and Darren go to the story heats up. After getting involved in a fight with four men Darren is hospitalized where he learns that Jackie is engaged to the young man she'd been seeing. With Darren's mother weds without his knowing anything about it, Darren is so upset he joins the US Air Force. Darren jumps from one woman to another, living a life he knows goes against everything his Christian upbringing taught him. His rebelliousness leads him into more and more trouble and heartache. Mason has penned a good, exciting romance novel that picks up where the first book in 'The Look of Love' series leaves off. A good, fun read that will keep the reader flipping pages.
A book of four short stories about settling the Old West and bringing law and order to a lawless land. Each story is action packed, but with a good story line. Fun reading for the Western enthusiast.
