Crooked financier Byron Fuller has planned what he thinks is the perfect murder of his wife Lucy. He has arranged a holiday for them in Greece but murders and buries Lucy the night before they are due to leave. To add to Byron's troubles, his wife mother has a brother who is an enforcer for an East London gang and she sets him on Byron's trail. The police also join in the hunt for Byron because of Paul's letter. There are many twists and turns in this pursuit which lead to a bloody climax.
