This is a love story of an African American family living in the American South during the late 1800’s until the present time. It traces their linage though the use of DNA and Census Reports. It tells their story through a Narrator. The Story Teller was almost like a mystery writer as he uncovers and reveals an exceptional family. We applauded the fortitude and endurance of this multi-generational family as they fought to keep their dignity and pride during those times in the racial segregated South. We then saw the Family contribute to the New American South.
Lee Baldwin moves to Maine to revel in a tide of solitude and brood about her missing husband. Instead she’s pulled into the daily dramas of Dolly, her flighty landlady; Maxine, the small town’s store proprietor; a welder at Bath Iron works; a trio of boys running wild; and their mother, who may or may not have heard a saint speak. Lee feels especially the fierce grace of Hazel, an elderly woman whose grip on life breathes energy into her own. Evoking the lives of northern New Englanders who struggle in the shadow side of prosperity, Preservation explores the isolation—and possibilities—of a time before electronics linked us nonstop through the cloud. About Sarah Carlisle’s River and Other Stories“With rare perspicacity, Cynthia Lang explores the reality of human relationships and the complexity of circumstance.” --Rufus Collinson, Poet Laureate, Gloucester, Massachusetts.“It’s the vocal textures: nimble sentences, sometimes buoyant, sometimes poignant, always with the sense that the momentum is the story. Lang writes of aspiration, chagrin, fleeting contentment. These stories open themselves across 200 years, two continents and the Caribbean.”--Virginia Euwer Wolff, winner of the 2001 National Book Award, Young People’s Literature for True Believer (Simon & Schuster/Atheneum)

Max's mother Natasha was killed in the 9/11 attack, and Max is devastated because of his close relationship with her. His stepfather asks him to tidy up her personal belongings and her stack of old records and papers. During the process Max discovers a journal in which she describes her married life with her transgendered husband, and her struggle in bringing up Max who could do prodigious memory feats but suffered from serious learning disabilities. The novel pursues two narrative tracks: in one, Max does a deconstruction of the effect of the 9/11 attack on New Yorkers, including himself, and, in the other, Natasha describes her turbulent life in New York during the last four decades of the twentieth century. The concluding section deals with Max zeroing in onto the origins of the 9/11 attack and the hidden warning signs he finds in the digital texts he accidentally discovers at the website of an Arab professor at NYU who is a close friend of Natasha.
"The Wanderings of Tirrith Silverstar". It is a fantasy novel about the life and journeys of a High Elf named Tirrith Silverstar. His life begins as he leaves his demeaning father in the dust as he rides his horse out of the castle gates. I couldn't stop thinking about the last words I had said to my father... "If I return home...it will be in a coffin." He yelled behind me as I rode out of the gates, "Your inheritance to your legacy is forfeit now." His words trailed off in the distance as I galloped down the road. Tirrith's life takes a huge turn when he finds out his life is saved by being turned into a vampire. As you read each book, Tirrith tells his story as he takes you through his adventures. He builds a castle, is crowned King, lives through an exorcism, speaks with his demon, and takes on an empire. My book speaks of the simplest things in life from eating a muffin for breakfast to trying to stay alive slashing through an ocean of men armed to the teeth. Tirrith's look on life is an inspiration to us all. Live life to the fullest, enjoy the simple things in life, make life your own canvas, and paint a new picture every day.

It will also allow her to secretly search for her missing mother, who disappeared during a mission on Earth to protect Terraloria, Gallia’s most sacred and powerful artifact from the Black King. However, dark forces are in play that will challenge Meridian to pass the final test.Terraloria has been located on Earth, where its power and ability to influence events is muted and easier to hide. Even so, its effects can be traced through earth history, and the Black King’s mentally unstable Researcher is dangerously close to finding it. Supported by an army of fairies, trolls, harpies and mercenaries, whose deadly mission will alter the lives of three human households, with Meridian as the unwitting sacrificial pawn in a high stakes game with no rules, success in acquiring the artifact is imminent.Unbeknownst to all the players in this war, a new challenger with far more ambitious goals, powered by an unquenchable thirst for revenge, has radically different intentions. The author Discussed the rôle of plate tectonics and salt movements in terms of plate kinematics (a new term: "Halo-kinematics); defined the stratigraphic relation of the Triassic deposits with that of the Gulf of Mexico. It is worth mentioning that the second edition of the book disclosed important geological and petroleum issues that led to the discovery of a new Triassic basin in northeast of the High Plateau of Algeria, defined its trend, and disclosed the issue of "The Missing Triassic cycle in North Algeria"; also, defined the Dome-like structure of the Hassi R 'Mel Gas Field which had been mis-interpreted as an anticlinal structure by the French geologists of "SN-REPAL, 1970", such efforts finally led to the discovery of an Oil Ring structure at the base of the Hassi R'Mel Gas field for the first time in the Middle East (only known in Asia (e.g. Iran & Russia). It is interesting to mention that Mr. Ait Hammouda, the previous boss of the author at the northern High Plateaux was transferred together with the author to the main Dept of the Triassic Province of the southern Saharan Platform (District IV), and later the author updated several petroleum, and Stratigraphically issues, and finally discovered the oil Ring structure at the Base of the Hassi RMel gas Field. The author prepared 15 copies which were distributed among the Algerian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy together with the Head Quarters of top officials of the State Company " Sonatrach!" Later, the author, took the responsibility of the Canadian International Pteromata Incorporation (IPI CO) that dealt with the new Data Base Retrieval System, while he was actually checking the drilling progress of the productive wells of his own discovery of the Oil Ring structure.

This memoir tells the story of my life from my Becoming in 1980 (Old Time) until my retirement to Mars in the early 22nd century O.T. I saw the fall of the nation state and the rise of the Corporations. I was there when JC conquered Space-Time and the cyber world circumscribed man. I knew manmade woman and voyaged throughout the solar system. I saw football rise and the world embrace it. I heard the roar of the Lamb and felt buildings fall. But most of all, I was a friend to Septimus—blessed is his name to me—the great scion of Old Texas, who we immortalized with that great statue in front of the headquarters for Earth Corp. Through him I became a Top Corporate and learned the secrets behind the “headlines” of those days. These secrets—at least those that Pub Corp will allow—I give to you, my absorbers. Enjoy and learn.
