As a culture, we are barraged and immersed with images and thoughts of our collective end, and the end of all time. We tend to have a human fascination with the big question of "How's it all going to end?" Nearly every day, it is common to see, read, or hear something in the news or on a social media platform about the "end of the world," the "Apocalypse," or "End Times." It seems that everyone has a specific theory or opinion of how these days will unfold. Yet, when we consider the prophecy regarding what the Bible refers to eighty-eight times as "The Day of the Lord," (a.k.a. Armageddon), we need to remember to get all our answers from the only authoritative source, The Holy Bible. We also need to remember the importance of what "The Day of the Lord" signifies: The second coming of Jesus Christ. Author and pastor Kenneth A. Behr's The Apocalypse and Coming Kingdom zeroes in on and breaks down biblical prophecy as it relates to Jesus's upcoming return, and the coming seven-year period, including the Great Tribulation. Having taught biblical prophecy for nearly thirty years, Behr's close study and expertise highlight a method and style that offer clear communication and inspiration. The return of Jesus is the greatest promise yet to be fulfilled in the Bible. This book uncovers what many have only understood to be hidden mysteries of end-time biblical prophecies. It is a definitive and prophetic look at the coming kingdom of Christ, and the fate of all humanity. Dr. Kenneth A. Behr is the founder and president of Faith Dialogue Inc. He is an educator, theologian, pastor, and best-selling author. He is the senior pastor of Celebrate Seniors, a church that embraces the older generation, restores dignity, and ministers as well to the families of these senior adults. Ken and his wife Carol have been married for over 40 years and have two children and five grandchildren. He has spent the last twenty years in ministry and was ordained by the Evangelical Church Alliance after a career in business.
EVERYONE HAS SOME "BROAD PLACE" of FREEDOM THEY YEARN TO ESCAPE TO, if only in daydreams. The author tells how Cape Cod was such a place for him growing up in the 1950s, when not every bay was lined with mansions and the woods and marshes still had a touch of wildness to them. What the author was escaping is only hinted at first, but crescendos to a near-madness of intellectual hubris. His salvation story is laced with observations on architecture and landscape, struggles between Tradition and Modernity, and many sharp "edges" of "progress" his life has spanned. You'll meet his Uncle Frank, a gifted designer of custom automobile bodies struggling for his art in an increasingly mass-production age. He engages with another uncle, a Christian Scientist, over biblical truth. Another chapter honors the author's late friend, Rev. Paul Anderson, who turned down a fashionable call, to preach in less glamorous Fall River-the "least Bible-minded" city in America-and the high price he paid for faithfulness. Besides evocations of Cape Cod and Boston, anyone who likes Melville's Moby-Dick (a fitting touchstone for the author's observations) and the novels of Charles Dickens will find things to enjoy along the way. Emil Heller Henning III was born and raised between Boston, Mass. and Baltimore, Md. He earned a master's degree in architecture, served three years in the Army Corps of Engineers, and has worked for architects in the Carolinas, starting his own practice in 2002. He became a Christian in 1977 (as told herein) and is an elder at his church. He wrote a book about Ezekiel's Temple Vision (Xulon Press, 2013) and has a second book on it in preparation (2023).

"God loves you." It's a foundational tenet of the Christian faith; it's a promise, a comfort, call to salvation, and a phrase we've heard time and time again. But what does it mean, really? How many of us a truly aware of the gravity of this statement? What are we supposed to do with this fact, and how do we conduct ourselves as worthy recipients of that love? In All I Want to Do Is Care for You, author Curtis Lucy explores these questions and more. Standing firmly upon biblical evidence, this book breaks down the true meaning, purpose, and promise of God's love for each of us-from the tiny manifestations of it that we might miss, to the life-changing sacrifice Jesus bore to save us all from sin. Featuring a guided prayer and a point for discussion, reflection, and action with each and every chapter, this eye-opening dive into the wonders of God's love for us will equip readers to acknowledge the miracles each day represents and live their lives the way God intended: full of love for others, for ourselves, and most importantly, for Him. Curtis Lucy grew up in Florida. He and his wife Gail are living in Virginia. He has two children and their spouses and grandchildren. A graduate of Auburn University (War Eagle). He worked for several years in manufacturing before answering God's call to enter the ministry. In 2003, started his walk with the Lord in ministry serving as a pastor. Have you ever been a victim of abuse? Have you ever questioned why such bad things have happened to you? Author Sonja Marie Miller can answer "yes" to both of these questions as she grew up only knowing abuse and cruelty from those who she believed cared about her. Yet through everything, she never gave up and survived the unimaginable."Unfortunately, bad things do happen to good people, but we do not have to let the bad things that have happened to us destroy our lives." -Sonja Marie Miller Truer words have never been spoken. Learning To Live Again (Through Jesus Christ My Lord) is Miller's startling, yet hopeful memoir of surviving, overcoming, and sharing her story so that other women who have suffered or are currently suffering as she has can become survivors and overcomers, as well. Her story of survival began all the way on the day of her birth as she was born at twenty-four weeks and weighed only three pounds. From childhood up to her late teenage years, she became a victim of molestation, abuse (physical, verbal, and sexual), and three counts of rape by her stepfathers and supposed friends. Fear, guilt, shame, and feelings of unworthiness were all she felt over those countless years, turning to anger, hatred, and rage as she reached adulthood. Through the bad and the worse, each year brought her closer to God until she attended a church service that changed her life forever. Now, she no longer considers herself a victim, but rather an overcomer since the day she received her healing through her Lord and Savior. Miller is a miracle, and her story is a wonder and a prayer to others so they, too, can overcome their pasts and maintain victory in their lives for their futures. Sonja is an ordained Minister and President and Founder of Lo.v.e. Ministries which (Love) stands for (Ladies of Victory Everywhere). We all want good things to happen in our lives, but too often we want it now...not later. When it doesn't happen that way, we are asked, "When, God, when?" Most of us need to grow in the area of trusting God instead of focusing on the "when". If you're missing joy and peace, you're not trusting God. We have the tendency to want to know about everything that's going on. Sometimes knowing everything can be uncomfortable and can even hurt you. God had to teach me to leave things alone and quit feeling that I needed to know everything. God wants us to live by faith and revelation of knowledge, not head knowledge. It's difficult to exercise faith if you're always trying to figure everything out. But when you're willing to say, "God, I can't figure this out, so I'm going to trust You to give me revelation that will set me free," then you can be comfortable in spite of not knowing. Trusting God often requires not knowing how God is going to accomplish what needs to be done and not knowing when He will do it. We often say God is never late, but generally He isn't early either. Why? Because He uses times of waiting to stretch our faith in Him and to bring about change and growth in our lives. E. M. Joyce enjoys a busy life - holding a 9 to 5 job and writing. The cloud feels lonely, because he lives in an area different from other clouds. At the end of the story the lonely cloud makes friends when he has to save to save the other clouds from a bad storm. Jacqueline D. Nelson, a teacher who was born and raised in Washington, D.C. I love teaching and my heart goes out to children that I teach. Franz Delitzsch wrote, A System of Biblical Psychology in 1855 and called it "one of the oldest sciences of the church." Oswald Chambers published lectures in 1912 as the last definitive spokesman for Biblical psychology before secular psychology displaced it. This book traces seven stages of mankind from original creation to eternal glorification, and is for anyone interested in what God reveals in Scripture about human nature. Insights from 55 years of teaching Scripture and 35 years of clinical practice are synthesized. The content is scholarly enough for a textbook, but written simply enough for any serious reader. Theological principles are presented from the perspective of a mental healthcare provider, not case studies or personality theory. Heinroth, Delitzsch, Nee, and Chambers are introduced to terminal generation readers. Christ's return is closer than ever, and the need to understand human behavior has never been more urgent! Dr. Don Ott is an ordained evangelist and licensed psychologist. He has practiced in Russellville, Arkansas since 1987 and established Christian Psychological Resources in 1994. Mount Zion: In the Fullness of His Presence; The Mystery of the Tabernacle of David examines mis-understood parts of David's story and explains how they lay a foundation for understanding the Tabernacle of David. This revelation is particularly applicable today since Amos 9:11-15 declares that the Tabernacle of David will be re-built in its fullness only after the Jews have returned to their homeland. The book looks into why David's reign was different from that of King Saul's; why, for example, King David was able to offer sacrifices while King Saul could not. Mount Zion also covers the role that the Gentiles played in David's administration, including as personal bodyguards and advisors. Additionally, the book gives significant insight into the important but little understood part that the Mighty Men played in the revelation of the Tabernacle of David. Ann Tankesley has spent a life-time studying the Bible. She has two daughters and lives in Tennessee.
The greatest evils are the ones that infiltrate our lives without our knowledge, and a bad relationship with food can deal as much damage as any weapon or disease. Having been diagnosed with diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, Reverend Zenzile R. Legend knew something had to change, or she was risking a premature death by her own two hands. Flawed, Favored, & Fabulous: Chronicles of a Former Fat Girl is a deeply personal book about Legend's own weight loss journey and the lessons she has learned along the way. It took Legend over thirty years to learn how to become thoughtful in her eating habits. After research, trial and error, and fluctuating body image, her relationship with food changed for better, and her relationship with God and herself flourished in ways unimaginable. Legend transformed not only her diet and physical appearance, but her perspective on self-worth, inner strength, and having trust in Christ to release us from our vices. By integrating mind, body, and spirit, Legend has formed valuable lessons, strategies, insights, and instructions within this work that will help anyone who is struggling to lose weight and rebuild their self-esteem. Life should be fulfilling, but we must play an active role in ensuring our own mental and physical wellbeing; we must begin choosing ourselves over our temptations. In the end, the only thing standing in the way of you evolving into your best self is you. Rev. Zenzile R. Legend is a gifted teacher, an anointed speaker, and an experienced life coach. In 35 years of pastoral ministry, Rev. Zenzi has been used to heal, deliver, encourage, inspire, strengthen, empower, restore, challenge, and uplift thousands of people. Although she was raised in Oakland, Rev. Zenzi left the Bay Area for 10 years to pursue a degree in Communications at Howard University in Washington D.C. Upon graduation, she went on to receive her MDiv from Colgate Rochester Divinity School in Rochester, NY, and then was called to plant a church back in Oakland. Recently, her dramatic weight loss broadened the scope of her life's work to include helping others to get healthy and to evolve into the best version of themselves in mind, body, and spirit. Rev. Zenzile has committed herself to modeling a personal relationship with God that is not only fulfilling but transformative; she is passionate about the fact that "it's not about religion but relationship.
We are often caught up in life asking God for all kinds of things. Do we ever ask God how He's doing? How He spends his day? Grade schooler Annie has questions about God and goes to her mom for guidance. As mom wonders about the answers she will give Annie, she suggests talking to Him about her questions. "I never know how to talk to Him", says Annie. And so begins an interesting dream and some answers Annie didn't expect. This story will hopefully begin a dialog between parents or caregivers with their children of how God can take a active part in the people we become as Christians to be caring and kind children of God and a reflection of Him to our world. As a child of God I have spent over 40 years in Developmental Infant and Toddler care. Now retired, my education was in Early Childhood Education. As a teacher, supervisor, director and grant recipient I wanted to bring to children and parents a greater understanding of raising our children to all they can be as adults and children of God, praising Him and learning to trust Him in a real relationship with our Lord. My husband Monte and I raised two daughters and now have four "breath-taking" grandchildren and two great-grandchildren in Lincoln, Nebraska. I believe God does have a plan for each of us if we seek Him with our whole hearts. My hobbies are being involved in my church through quilting, hospitality committee, women's Bible studies, singing, drawing, and amateur gardening, and of course spending time with a large extended family.

My Mom raised me on Hough in Cleveland, Ohio. Writing this book helped me break free of my past. The heartache of my father leaving us. I was lost! Life didn't seem real, I was shame and hid my pain. Mother always said what goes on in this house stays in this house. That taught me to keep secrets. Nobody could see the pain inside of me. My mother taught me to pray and God is the one who carried me in the mist of it all. Without knowing him I would have been lost forever. Roberta Gibson is a wife, mother, and Nana. Born and raised in Cleveland, a Hough native attending Nazarene Baptist Church on Wade Park. Her education was at Bolton, Mary B. Martin, Addison Jr. high, and East High schools. In her later years she attended Cleveland State University for a while, then attending Cuyahoga Community College she obtained a degree in Liberal Arts. Returning back to Cuyahoga Community College she received a Safe Serve Certificate from their Culinary Program. She plans to return to improve her cooking skills and obtain a degree. Her hobbies are cooking, baking, reading, and writing books. For 11 years she served as a Scout Leader with her students. A strong believer of faith, she loves meeting new people and enjoying life.
ABOUT THE BOOKEverything written inside this volume of words is an accumulation of my life's teaching experience, reading journeys, life's tricks, walking in God's comfort through the grass or the Dragon's thorns. Nothing was a mistake not learned from because God aided every fall to get up again in faith. Writing became my therapy, writing personal journals, poems, songs, and short stories of life or Christmas. Words from my book, I hope will be lifted off the pages to enlighten and help others align with God's salvation. Now, I get up near sunrise, sit on my back porch in front of my Dudley outdoor stove with my books of Abraham Lincoln, devotions and Hohlman Bible and enjoy the warmth of the Sun or stove or the cold of Winter's hand to enjoy the coming of the day gathering more words for a new book in life!
Have you ever found yourself in a fight with your sibling that lasted a couple days? Months? Or, even years? Do you feel misunderstood or treated unfairly by members of your family? You are not alone. Thankfully God's word vividly illustrates many sibling relationships gone awry along with lessons to glean from psychological research providing insight, and modern day application. Let's be real- there is no picture-perfect family. Only on Instagram does that exist. And I guarantee you that behind that perfect social media post are imperfect people struggling to love and accept one another. While God created the family unit, He also calls us away from family at times, often to grow us and mature us into the person he wants us to become. His plans do not align with our cultural ideas of the family closeness we see depicted in the media as a reflection of our societal values. So, what happens when our plans and His plans for our families don't match up?
