The first branch of it is that which D'Orbigny calls Antisian, and which he connects at once with the Peruvians Proper; both being members of that primary division to which he referred the Araucanians - the Araucanians being the third branch of the Ando-Peruvians; the two others being the - "a. Peruvian branch. - Colour deep olive-brown; form massive; trunk long in proportion to the limbs; forehead retreating; nose aquiline; mouth large; physiognomy sombre: - Aymara and Quichua Peruvians."
