Nicholas Turner and several others are at Prisca Delacroix's safe house on Barrier's Edge just outside of Grenoble, France. in the year 2018. He is trying to train some new Peregrines in their new lifestyle, with little success.
Back at Simon Lane's safe house on the edge of the giant village of Garganthera, Seth, Jason, Simon, Odessa, and Alec are ready for some new peregrinations.
We find our two lost Peregrines now living in a strange new world only accessible on a fifth dimensional plane located inside the more intense storm portals. Here, brave Peregrines find strange and deadly creatures larger than any known land animal on Earth, and shifting mountainsides that can transport you across the land or swallow you up, never to be heard from again. A large treehouse hidden away at the top of a dangerous and remote mountain ridge offers sanctuary to many a traveler. This is where you will be introduced to the strange, very large, and hairy man who calls himself Oz.
Back on Earth, you'll find a secret, hidden, island in the center of the famed and mysterious Bermuda Triangle. Beneath it is the remnants of an ancient, uninhabited, underground temple with ancient books hidden away because of the information they contain. Our Peregrines must go on an all-out hunt to find the five lost keys which open these ancient texts, all while the search for the missing Peregrine known only as Eleven, and her strange travel companion, continues.
