Bag om Rules To Live By
This is a book about Gary. Gary is a typical forty something in a typical middle management job. He has the wife and the kids and the dog. He has all the things he expected to have by the time he reached his forties and that includes the nice house and the decent car. It's not enough though. You see, Gary is in a rut. Gary might have all the things he expected to have, but still life isn't going well for him. Not as well as he thinks that it should be going anyway. This is a book about a book. So he buys himself a book and reads it in an attempt to do something about the doldrums he finds himself in. The book turns out not to be a quick fix, which can only be a good thing, right? Based very loosely around the experience of readers of self-help books, Rules to Live By explores one of the many crossroads in life and how one person tries to navigate their way on to the next chapter of their life in an attempt to find fulfilment along the way. Jed Cope is the author of twelve other books including the Ben and Thom series of books and also the thrillers, Two For The Show and The Entrepreneurs' Club.
