Brugerbedømmelser af Swimming in the Dark

  • Julia J. 31. Oktober 2023

Somehow, the beginning made me think that I was in for a literary treat. The book, though enjoyable, wasn't as great as I hoped. I really enjoyed recognising the descriptions of Warsaw, as I visit that city at least once a year myself and the post-war political climate isn't new to me either, because of all the stories my family tell from that time, however, the love story, somehow, falls flat.
I am not in the most creative of moods, so I have difficulty putting into words what felt off, but it did, nonetheless.
