The Little Yellow Duckling (1922) - May Byron - Bog

Bag om The Little Yellow Duckling (1922)

""The Little Yellow Duckling"" is a children's picture book written by May Byron and originally published in 1922. The story follows a mother duck who hatches a brood of ducklings, but one of them is different from the others - it is bright yellow while the rest are brown. The mother duck is initially hesitant to accept the yellow duckling, and the other animals in the farmyard mock and exclude it. However, the little yellow duckling eventually proves itself to be brave and resourceful, and saves the other ducklings from danger. In the end, the mother duck realizes that it doesn't matter what color her children are, and accepts the little yellow duckling as one of her own. The book features charming illustrations by Margaret Tarrant and teaches children about the importance of acceptance and kindness towards those who are different. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
