Carrie Carnegie, an emotionally distant socialite, finds herself on a television reality show. She is not a reality show star, and believes she is above the game. After all, what role should unfeigned love, money and friendship play in other people's entertainment? Carrie grows attached to Ethan, the show's judge. With her emotions engaged, she becomes an easy target, and is cruelly manipulated by the show's producer. Viewers eat up her romance with the judge, but she is left to wonder if Ethan is really falling in love with her? She has lost control. At what point does a woman draw a line in the sand and say no more? Can she manage to get a grip on her own reality?
