Robert Wakefield was born in the summer of 1965 in Salford, England. In the recession of the eighties he joined the Royal Air Force serving overseas in the Falklands and Ascension Islands. During the nineties, Robert took up a career in the Prison Service serving fifteen years before deciding to take an early retirement. In July 2007, Robert published 'Knights of God' and upon release it hit the bestseller chart of some renowned publishing outlets, selling 8,000 copies in the first week alone. Since then, Robert has continued writing, and is in currently in producing a motion picture of "The Year Zero."
