Haunted by the man in the mirror that only shows himself to Addison, the teenagers wonder if it is his great-grandfather, Heinz. Determined to get to the bottom of his ancestor's involvement during World War II, they rent a motor home and travel south for rest and relaxation. Finding themselves in New Orleans during Mardi Gras, they come across some interesting characters, two of whom claim to be vampires. Unwittingly unleashing the dark while trying to contact Heinz, the trio look to a Voodoo Queen for help to banish the evil, especially once it discharges its power on the city and death may be involved. Meeting a new friend with an unusual name and even weirder parents, she helps them try out spells from a mysterious book. Will they be successful?
