The Performing Dignity Project's Celebrating Performance: Cabaret Performing Artists of Pattaya, Thailand shares information about the passionate performance artists that work in small cabarets. The Performing Dignity Project was initiated to recognize the work that happens in smaller cabarets around the world, starting in Pattaya, Thailand. The project began in 2014 thanks to private funding from an anonymous benefactor. Currently, there are various opportunities to see the transgender community perform in the sea-side town and this work looks at two smaller cabaret bars: - Castro and New Cafe Royale in an LGBT area. The performance artists were photographed during various live performances; and, this work aims to express their energy, passion and creative work, the performers share as artists. The Performing Dignity Project's Celebrating Performance: Cabaret Performing Artists of Chiang Mai, Thailand shares information about the passionate performance artists that work in cabarets in the city of Chiang Mai. The Performing Dignity Project was initiated to recognize the work that happens in smaller cabarets around the world, starting in Pattaya, Thailand, followed by work in Koh Samui and Bangkok, Thailand. This is the fourth work in the series and looks at the artists of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Currently, there are various opportunities to see members of the transgender community and other artists perform in Chiang Mai but this work looks specifically at the artists of Chiang Mai Cabaret Show, Anusarn Night Market. These performance artists were photographed during various live performances, and this work aims to express the energy, passion and creative work that the performers share as artists. The Performing Dignity Project's Celebrating Performance: Cabaret Performing Artists of Koh Samui, Thailand shares information about the passionate performance artists that work in cabarets on the beautiful island of Koh Samui. The Performing Dignity Project was initiated to recognize the work that happens in smaller cabarets around the world, starting in Pattaya, Thailand. This is the second work in the series and looks at the artists of Koh Samui, Thailand. Currently, there are various opportunities to see members of the transgender community perform on the island and this work looks at two cabaret bars: Starz Cabaret and The Cabaret in Chaweng, Koh Samui. These performance artists were photographed during various live performances, and this work aims to express the energy, passion and creative work that the performers share as artists. The Performing Dignity Project was initiated to recognize the work that happens in smaller cabarets around the world, starting in Pattaya, Thailand, and followed by Koh Samui, Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Thailand. This is the fifth work in the series and looks at the cabaret artists of Phuket, Thailand. Currently, there are a variety of opportunities to see members of the transgender community perform, but this work focuses on the Zag Club and My Way, Phuket.These performance artists were photographed during various live performances, and this work aims to express the energy, passion and creative work that the performers share as artists.Celebrate life through those that share their passion with us, the audience.
