Subvolume 27I compiles the magnetic properties of silicates and phosphates; Beyond magnetic properties, the book reviews results of neutron diffraction studies, nuclear gamma resonance, nuclear magnetic resonance, X-ray absorption spectroscopy, transport properties, dielectric and optical data.
The magnetic properties of silicates and phosphates are compiled in subvolume 27I. While subvolumes 27I1, 27I2, 27I3, 27I4, and 27I5 (already published) deal with orthosilicates, sorosilicates, cyclosilicates, inosilicates, and phyllosilicates, respectively, the present subvolume 27I6 deals with tectosilicates.
Rapid localization of the required data is facilitated by an alphabetical index of substances and a two-dimensional survey of substances and properties dealt with in both subvolumes III/28b and III/16b.
The present volumes comprises data on optical constants of non-electrolyte systems, comprising pure liquids and binary liquid mixtures at normal pressure.The data contain refractive indices as a function of temperature, wavelength and - for binary mixtures - of composition at normal pressure.
