Mozart wrote his Piano Concerto in D minor, K466, for his subscription concerts held during the Lenten season of 1785. According to the entry in his own autograph catalogue of works, it was completed on 10 February 1785 and given its premiere one day later. Leopold Mozart, then visiting in Vienna, mentioned the piece in a letter of 14 February to his daughter: An excellent new piano concerto by Wolfgang was being written out by the copyist when we arrived, and your brother had not even had time to play through the Rondo as he had to supervise the work of copying. This Urtext edition of the concerto (with orchestral accompaniment arranged for second piano - 2 copies required for performance) has been edited by world-renowned musicologist Christoph Wolff together with pianist Christian Zacharias. Contains the cadenzas (WoO58) by Beethoven, who gave the first public performance of the concerto in Vienna, in appendix.

Erkki-Sven Tüür's Canticum Canticorum Caritatis (Song of Songs) is a setting in Latin for choir SATB (with divisi) of the famous passage from St. Paul's letter to the Corinthians, chapter 13, dealing with the nature of love (Now faith, hope, love these three: but the greatest of these is love"). Tüür reflects that the ancient Greeks broadly divided love into four categories: agape, eros, philia, and storge. When love is exhausted, we often think about eros. But at this moment there is a need to celebrate agape, unconditional love, and this piece was born from this consideration. The World Premiere of Canticum Canticorum Caritatis was given on August 8, 2020 at the Kärdla Church, Kärdla, Hiiumaa (Estonia), by the vocal ensemble Collegium Musicale, conducted by Endrik Üksvärav. The work is dedicated to Endrik Üksvärav & Collegium Musicale. This product is a high quality Edition Peters vocal score, for a cappella choir SATB (with divisi). This product is Printed on Demand and may take several weeks to fulfill."

Oskar Rieding's (1840-1918) 'Easy' Violin Concerto in B minor is a favorite among students and teachers alike. With its three long and effective movements, it is often the first 'big' recital piece for young violinists, and it gives teachers an early opportunity to introduce their students to easy concerto literature. This new edition of the concerto has been edited by respected violin pedagogue Franziska Matz and aims to support the development of secure tone production and phrasing. Includes a piano score and separate violin part.

A firm favourite with singers of all ages, this simple but moving duet is now attractively presented in this new edition.Hansel and Gretel is one of the most-performed operas ever written - within a year of its premiere in Weimar in 1893 it had been performed 50 times in Germany alone. The storyIn Act I Hansel and Gretel have annoyed their Mother by dancing when they should have been making brooms and knitting. In her anger the Mother knocks over the jug of milk, the only food in the house. She sends the children out into the nearby forest to pick strawberries, but when the Father returns he is horrified, because this is where the Witch lives in her gingerbread cottage. He and the Mother go out to find their Children. In Act II, after the children have picked and then eaten the strawberries, a mist arises and, when it clears, there is the Sandman, a smallgrey figure with a sack on his back. He throws sand in their eyes and, after they saytheir evening prayer, they fall asleep in each other's arms. After the prayer, the mistdescends again and turns into a magic staircase, down which comes the fourteen angels of whom they sang, to surround them and keep them safe through the night.

The Sleeping Soul is an atmospheric five-minute piece for SATB choir with organ, at times evoking the mystery of the text and at other moments expressing joy contained in it. It was composed for the Bath Abbey Music Society in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Abbey Girls Choir in 2017. O Salutaris Hostia is one of Eriks Esenvalds' most popular pieces. Originally written for female voices, the composer later created a version for full choir on which this arrangement is based. It has a gentle meditation with the two soloists drifting across the soft band accompaniment, alternately echoing and imitating each other or joining together in thirds. The effect is quietly ecstatic, a brief moment of adoration and wonderment. This arrangement can be played with either two cornets or two euphoniums as soloists as the accompaniment works just as effectively with either.Brings contemporary choral repertoire by a leading international composer to the band worldArrangement of Eriks Esenvalds' highly successful choral piece 'O Salutaris Hostia'Arranged by brass band specialist Phillip LittlemorePart of EP Brass Band SeriesMeditative, beautiful piece, highly attractive for audiences, and proven success as a choral workSuitable for intermediate band at 2nd Section and aboveOrchestration: 1 1st Bb Soloist, 1 2nd Bb Soloist, 1 Eb Soprano Cornet, 1 Bb Solo Cornet (marked tacet), 1 Bb Repiano Cornet, 2 2nd Bb Cornet, 2 3rd Bb Cornet, 1 Bb Flugel Horn, 1 Solo Eb Horn, 1 1st Eb Horn, 1 2nd Eb Horn, 1 1st Bb Baritone, 1 2nd Bb Baritone, 1 1st Bb Trombone, 1 2nd Bb Trombone, 1 Bass Trombone, 1 Bb Euphonium (marked tacet), 2 Eb Basses, 2 Bb Basses, Timpani, 1 Percussion (suspended cymbal)

Only in Sleep is a nostalgic vision of childhood re-experienced through dreams. Eriks Esenvalds has created a work of subtlety, yet powerful and expressive. The music has an incandescent freshness and the Flugel Horn soloist heard at the opening returns at the close, lost in reverie, whilst florid arabesques float over one last pair of chordal oscillations, winding down to nothing. This brilliant arrangement for brass band has become every bit as popular as the original choral setting.Brings contemporary choral repertoire by a leading international composer to the band worldArrangement of Eriks Esenvalds' highly successful choral piece 'Only in Sleep'Arranged by brass and brass band specialist Phillip LittlemorePart of EP Brass Band SeriesMeditative, beautiful piece, highly attractive for audiences, and proven success as a choral workSuitable for intermediate band at 2nd Section and aboveOrchestration: 1 Eb Soprano Cornet, 4 Bb Solo Cornet, 1 Bb Repiano Cornet, 2 2nd Bb Cornet, 2 3rd Bb Cornet, 1 Bb Flugel Horn, 1 Solo Eb Horn, 1 1st Eb Horn, 1 2nd Eb Horn, 1 1st Bb Baritone, 1 2nd Bb Baritone, 1 1st Bb Trombone, 1 2nd Bb Trombone, 1 Bass Trombone, 2 Bb Euphoniums, 2 Eb Basses, 2 B Basses, Timpani, 1 Percussion (suspended cymbal)
