Both Standard and Structural Ricardian Models are applied for identifying climate change impacts on farm incomes, depicting the spatial patterns and seasonality of the impacts, and understanding the future adaptation behavior of farmers in the crop sector.
The book studies rural poverty in Kyrgyzstan. A cross-section random sample of 297 households allows to measure poverty and frontier production efficiency of a sample using DEA and SFA methods. The results demonstrate the existence and statistical significance of the poverty-efficiency linkage. The endogeneity problem is resolved with TSLS methods.
