A special issue that had its origins in the Quebec 98 Conference on Short-Term Memory, held in Quebec City, Canada, in June 1998. It provides an overview of the research on short-term/working memory, including the challenges, controversies, and the theoretical advances in this field.

This special issue reveals both commonalities and unique features relating to the interpretation of social psychology around the world and provides insights into the indigenization and discipline-development processes.

This book covers representative research and applications of behavior analysis at the beginning of the 21st century. It presents an indication of the international relevance of this area of psychology and its state.
