"Sol Reyes has had a rough year. After a series of workplace incidents at her university lab culminates in a plagiarism accusation, Sol is put on probation. Her wife, Alice Song, is far more optimistic. After all, the two finally managed to buy a house in the beautiful, gated community of Maneless Grove. However, the neighbors are a little too friendly in Sol's opinion. She has no interest in the pushy Homeowners Association, their bizarrely detailed contract, or their never-ending microaggressions. ... Suddenly, a number of strange occurrences--doors and stairs disappearing, roots growing inside the house--cause Sol to wonder if her social paranoia isn't built on something more sinister"--

Zweifel. Hattest du schon einmal richtige Zweifel? Zweifel an dir selbst? Zweifel an deinen Fähigkeiten? Zweifel an deinen Überzeugungen?
What can happen when five high school guys are each granted one wish by a genie? Plenty: Superpowers, super strength, mind control, and high-speed cars are just the beginning of the madness. When Callith Morri moves to a tiny yet infamous town in the Pacific northwest to study forestry and find cryptids other than mothman and other East coast legends, he expects to have at least one sasquatch sighting, or perhaps even discover werewolves or vampires hiding among humans as mothpeople do. Instead, along comes a spider.... person. This webhead isn't anything like a certain famous superhero, though. Spylar is much more unsettling and hair-raising. And yet, Cal finds himself unable to run from them, despite all his instincts telling him to. Cal gets caught up in Spylar's web, and soon he has no desire to escape. And so a mothman falls in love with a spiderperson, and it's probably a better love story than one between a human and a vampire. Maybe. It's certainly spicer. Spider Moth is a 26k word contemporary urban fantasy novella in which a trans male mothman and a non-binary spiderperson fall in love, and many Twilight jokes are made, along with a plethora of other pop culture references.
Naughty, curious, and compassionate, these six stories delight in characters innocently drawn to erotic transgression and celebrate playful deviousness and sexual possibility hilariously tempered with good old-fashioned common decency.

"Shael lives in a vast prison camp, a monstrosity developed after centuries of warfare and environmental catastrophe. As a young transfeminine person, they risk abject violence if their identity and love affair with Coe, an insurrectionary activist, are discovered. But desire and rebellion flare, and soon Shael escapes to Riverwish, a settlement attempting to forge a new way of living that counters the camp's repression. As the complexities of this place unfold before Shael, Disobedience asks: How can a community redress harm without reproducing unaccountable forms of violence? How do we heal? What might a compassionate, sustainable model of justice look like? This is a remarkable work of queer and trans speculative fiction that imagines how alternative forms of connection and power can refuse the violent institutions that engulf us."--

From altar boy to prostitute, from hormone and silicon injections to drastic sex-change surgery, all part of a quest for meaning and self-identity. And then, the greatest change of all...a new person. Through a life-long struggle with transsexuality, Perry finally comes to understand the source of true love. "I thought God had made a mistake. He must have been playing tiddly winks or something when I was born. He should have pressed the girl button, but he pressed the one for boys instead. I wanted desperately to be a woman, and to have money, fame and pleasure. On February 9, 1974, I found what Id been looking for all my life ... Dresses only covered my masculinity. Makeup only masked it. Silicone only reshaped it. Surgery only mutilated it. Underneath, in every cell of my body, the truth was recorded ten million times, in every gene. I was a man!"
I used to be a Male-to-Female transgender person, and for thirty years of my life, I believed I was a girl trapped in a boy's body. This was a firm belief I held; I believed I was born this way, and nothing or no one could change my mind. This belief eventually led me to medically transition into a woman, or so I thought, until I had a supernatural spiritual encounter with God, which lasted for five days. The author, Ricardo Simms, shares his journey of breaking free from this mindset and recovering his stolen identity-the identity God had always intended for him. He shares the struggles he faced in letting go of the Wrong Identity and learning how to embrace his newfound identity in Christ Jesus. You'll be able to see where and how it all started for five-year-old Ricardo, witness the moment of truth discovery, and understand the decision that broke him free after more than three decades. You'll also see how the love of God led him to repentance. It becomes clear that our true identity doesn't come from possessions, careers, or the world, but solely from Jesus. If your identity isn't rooted in Jesus, you too may be living in the "Wrong Identity."
