One could cover the first six chapters of this book in about six to eight weeks of a three-credit graduate course on polymerization reactors, with the other chapters assigned for reading.

It offers insight into how a typical mathematician works¿observing patterns, conducting experiments, looking at or creating examples, understanding underlying principles, coming up with guesses or conjectures, and rigorously proving them.
