It is our hope that through aninclusive collection like this, we can amplifyrelevant cultural narratives and shine a light onthe rich humanity contained within our stories.There are those that would have us believe theBlack & LatinX poets are extinct or on their way tobecoming irrelevant. Nothing is further from thetruth. We are very much alive and we are everywhere.
