Succeed in life with or without a degree, a book for anyone who wants to succeed in life despite their level of education. In a job market where recruiters are mostly interested in highly qualified profiles, one has the right to wonder if one can succeed in the professional world without a degree. School, which is the royal road to acquire skills through quality training, does not suit everyone. Its knowledge acquisition requirements are not adapted to everyone. Diplomas open the doors to the world of work and the offers mention the criteria that one must have in one's baggage. However, this is not the only way to get there. It seems that getting a degree is not the only way to succeed because many people have not had the chance to go far in their studies. Some had to stop because of lack of means and others because of dropping out of school. There are people with a creative spirit in specific sectors of activity. One can create a company and develop it without being a graduate of prestigious schools because social success is important for everyone.

Take your own time and follow the TORTOISE method so that learning or teaching English will be a matter of fun. Reading stories is an activity that is a part of the most delightful period of childhood. Most of us have a natural curiosity about the animals we see around us. Storytelling is one of the oldest and most effective forms of teaching and most powerful means that leaders have to influence, teach, and inspire & also helps with learning because stories are easy to remember. Organizational psychologist Peg Neuhauser found that learning which stems from a well-told story is remembered more accurately, and for far longer, than learning derived from facts and figures. Some stories are sad, funny, will make you laugh and happy. But one thing that all of these stories have in common is that they will touch your heart & soul. You are welcome to share these stories with your students, relatives, co-workers, kids, friends that grow ever more popular as the time passes.Welcome!

Several decades ago in the teaching field finding English for Specific Purposes (ESP)/specialized textbooks in the streams such as: mechanical engineering, carpentry, Electricity, Construction, sewing/tailoring, electronics... is a real problem in Africa, particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo. ESL/EFL teachers are obliged to provide English lessons in these streams but they are stumped by the scarcity of textbooks. This book is one of the responses to students and professionals working in tailoring/dressmaking field. The program was developed by following a general demand around the country (DRC) from ESL teachers and inspectors and other practitioners including librarians, it contains the basics of sewing English for beginner students (1st to 2nd forms of tailoring stream). Specialized language (English for Specific Purposes) is part of language didactics and is widely applied in second or foreign language learning or training, addressing the direct and very specific needs of learners who need to make this language a tool in their education, training or employment. Thus, we can speak of English for science, law, for tourism, for the hotel industry, etc.

one of the reasons that pupils or students fail (at school, university, center etc.) is slippage and lack of basics of questioning techniques. After our investigations more than 60% of teachers in the DRC (experienced and fresh teachers) face this dilemma and this handicaps the improvement of teaching. Questioning in teaching and learning not only encourages students to think critically; but it also allows teachers to assess whether their students understand a particular concept. This process requires the teacher to be able to come up with the right questions in order to get students to provide answers that are both relevant and of high standard. If you do not ask the right questions, you do not get the right answers. A question asked in the right way often points to its own answer. According to Brandon Cline (2018), ¿while asking questions may seem a simple task, it is perhaps the most powerful tool we possess as teachers.¿ Through questioning techniques, we have the power to push our students¿ thinking to the highest levels. We have the power to create challenging, rigorous tasks that help our students grow academically, think deeply, and spark their curiosities.
