The purpose of this research is to propose Personal Learning Environments for the metacognitive development of sixth semester students of the systems engineering program in the Higher Educational Institutions of Sincelejo, Department of Sucre - Colombia. The following authors were considered for the theoretical support: Chiavenato (2008), López (2011), Koontz and Weihrich (2009), Shermerhorm (2005), Estrada (2013), among others for the variables Directive Management and Pedagogical Monitoring. The type of research was descriptive and analytical, assuming a field research design. The study population consisted of sixty-eight (68) students from the different campuses of the systems engineering program in higher education in sincelejo, department of sucre - Colombia.
