Lilith is a threshold guardian with many aliases, including the war-monger goddess Anat of Zaphon. She is a vampiric spirit who specialises in dispossession and necromancy. She also claims rulership of appointed times as well as dwelling rights within us. By blocking the processing of shame, she tempts us towards narcissism or addiction. The conflict between her and Jesus began at Cana and went on even after His return from the dead. Many prophets surrendered the fullness of their calling to her and only a very few triumphed over her. Dealing with Lilith examines the work of Jesus in removing her spears, harpoons and entangling nets to restore our lost inheritance.
Jesus went about healing during His life-bringing restoration of both body and soul to those who thronged after Him and touched the hem of His garment. Yet out of all the crowds He helped, we know very few names. One of them is Jairus, the leader of the synagogue in Capernaum. It's a story important enough to be retold by three different gospel writers. However, it's also entwined with that of a woman who had been bleeding incessantly for twelve years. There's a clue in the name Jairus. And another clue in the healing of the bleeding woman. Jesus was addressing a historical wound that went back nearly two millennia.
The Elijah Tapestry investigates the patterning in the first and last chapters of the beloved disciple's gospel and explores the message unveiled by uniting two seemingly unrelated pieces of information, one from the beginning and one from the end. The totality brings to light some intriguing implications about who was given Elijah's mantle after the death of John the Baptiser. The primary purpose of this study is devotional, yet it is not content to paddle in the shallows. Rather it seeks to take the reader down to pearl-divers' depth into a lustrous world that has rarely been explored. It aims to bring to the surface and into our awareness the numerical-literary style that typifies John's mode of thinking and writing so we can better decipher his message of truth and beauty, and understand its ongoing relevance for us today. The Elijah Tapestry is the first volume in the series, Mystery, Majesty and Mathematics in John's Gospel.
'I am your only friend.'That's the playbook line that works so superbly for the spirit of rejection. Most of us fall for it without ever realising our coping mechanisms-fight flight freeze flatter forestall or forget-are actually undermining our every effort to overcome this entity. So how can we subdue the spirit of rejection in our lives without sabotaging ourselves in the process? This seventh book in the series Strategies for the Threshold is the most highly anticipated volume so far. It addresses the nature of the spirit its wider agenda its spiritual legal rights and its propensity for following after us to undo the good that we do.
When Alina's son, Fin, traces his long-absent birthfather, it's the catalyst for decades of secrets to implode in Alina's neatly ordered life.
Was the curse Joshua pronounced on the reconstruction of Jericho ever revoked? Who received the prophet Elijah's mantle after John the Baptiser died? The answers to these questions are tucked away in the folds of familiar episodes in the life of Jesus. They peek out at us, trying to hook our attention, but so often we overlook them as tiny, irrelevant details. This book is the first in this series to move beyond Jesus' own lifetime and examine the way He set up events so that His disciples could continue His work of healing history, mending society and repairing the world.

'What's to stop me killing you and taking the Powers?' The giant raised the sword. 'All I see is a dwarf, a pony and seven children, none of whom is even remotely capable of resisting the might of Uller Princekiller.' For centuries, the knights, dwarves, giants and sages of Auberon-Zamberg have been intent on a single quest. They're all searching for 'The King Who Guards the Gate'. Prophecy speaks of him as one of seven protectors who will defeat the armies of night and overcome the Dark Sleeper. The last thing anyone is expecting is that these seven protectors are ordinary children.

Who was the first person recorded as praising God?Who was the first to give Him a name?Who was the first to announce the coming of God''s Messiah?Who was Paul''s mentor and coach?Who financed Jesus'' ministry? And who anointed Him king?Scripture makes no secret of the fact the kingmakers, culture-changers, pioneers, visionaries, bridge-builders, navigators, watchers, sentinels, cupbearers, mentors, coaches and God-namers were so often women. The virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31 is also a woman of valour. This sequel to the best-selling MORE PRECIOUS THAN PEARLS continues to highlight the underrated role of women in Scripture. With study helps in each chapter, plus prayers to bless you as well as your sisters in Christ.
A sequel to Like Wildflowers, Suddenly.Once again, the stories in this volume explore the Jewish mindset of the first century, along with its traditions and worldview. They probe the depths of particular nuances behind the words of Jesus, showing how He crafted them to heal history—by deliberately visiting specific locations on very particular dates and engaging with carefully chosen individuals.Bent World, Bright Wings highlights the action of Jesus in two deeply defiled places, each weighed down by the massive spiritual payload that results from millennia of corruption. In one place, He simply spoke healing to the land; in the other, His actions were a direct challenge to the powers behind one of the greatest ruptures in human history. In doing so, He was overshadowed by the Father—as our bent world is now overshadowed by the bright wings of His Spirit.
