The current book, "Ecosystem and Environmental Pollution", discusses ethno botanical research, environmental toxicity, heavy metals, ambient air pollution, biodiversity conservation, environmental pollution, and vermitechnology. An ecosystem is a geographical area in which plants, animals, and other species coexist with weather and topography to generate a life bubble. Ecosystems contain both biotic (living) and abiotic (non-living) materials. Every component of an ecosystem depends on every other component, either directly or indirectly. A change in the temperature of an environment, for example, has a significant impact on whether plants thrive there. Animals that rely on plants for food and shelter will either have to adapt or relocate to a different ecology.
Presents the fundamental concepts and principles of environment science and technology. Each chapter has been designed so that students can grasp topics with ease. Presentation of case studies make the concepts more simple and understandable. Every chapter contains multiple-choice and review questions.
