Love freely, passionately, and with all you have. As if you've never been hurt before. But choose who to give your love to wisely. This book is a collection of tips, quotes, and wisdom that B. Love learned from not choosing who she gave myself to wisely in the past. It is her prayer that her mistakes and her lessons learned will be enough experience to keep you from making the same mistakes as well.

Self-love is about awareness. Being aware of who you are, what you have to offer, what you have to give, what you need in return. Self- love is about knowing your worth. After giving birth at the age of sixteen, Harlem promised to give her son the world - no matter how hard fulfilling that promise made her life. Two years after Hayden's birth, Harlem finds herself trying to juggle being a mother, starting college, keeping her business running, and moving out of her brother's home. Although he and his wife want nothing more than to help Harlem and Hayden, there's only one person Harlem will ever share the responsibility of raising her son with. His father. Tage Young. Tage Young's life had been mapped out for him from the womb. He was expected to follow in his father's footsteps and play in the NFL. Unlike his father, however, Tage was supposed to play long enough to make sure his parents and the rest of his family would be financially taken care of for the rest of their lives. That plan almost came to a halt when Tage and Harlem became parents. Tage foolishly allowed his parents to talk him into not only leaving Memphis for school, but leaving Harlem and Hayden as well. Two years later, Tage has seemingly realized the error of his ways. He wants to fix things with his son... and Harlem. He wants to live for himself. Be his own man. A father to his son. A husband to Harlem. There's just one thing standing in the way of that - Harlem. Over the past two years she's saved her love and allowed no man to have access to it because of the heartache she experienced dealing with Tage. And if he thinks she's going to allow him to waltz back into her life and heart... well... he's got another thing coming! Or does she? *This is a standalone novel, but the characters were first introduced in Give Me Something I Can Feel.*

There's just one problem - their lack of being completely honest with each other becomes the sever that may separate them completely and permanently. Will that be the case? There's a widespread trend of 'kicking it', 'just talking', 'being friends with benefits' and having 'side chicks' that I'm not really sure if the generation under me will even know what it looks like to truly date someone and have an actual relationship. I will be twenty-six this year and I feel so old school. What happened to the days of being friends before you dated someone? What happened to the days of having to ask your parents if you could date; and then having to get permission from the parents of the person that you wanted to date? Do people still talk? I mean... actually talk? Do people have those deep and meaningful conversations where they not only get to know the facts about a person, but they also take the time to get to know a person's fears, desires, and goals? Have we become so fearful of loving and losing, or being alone, or being unwanted that we've begun to settle for situationships in which we give men and women husband and wife privileges when they aren't even our boyfriends and girlfriends? Why has commitment become uncool? How are we having relationships with people that we aren't relating to? We aren't connecting. We aren't taking the time to get to know people and understand them. We're simply, meeting someone, talking to them, becoming attached with feelings, having sex... learning that person as we go along, realizing we don't really like them, or want to be with them anymore, and then we end the relationship; thinking it's something wrong with that person, when it's really a matter of a lack of true relation. True connection. Okay, let me not put you in the same boat as me. Maybe you aren't doing any of those things. Maybe you just want a list of questions to better help you get to know a person that you are interested in. Or, maybe you want this list so that when you meet someone in the future you will be prepared. Whatever the case, I'm glad you decided to check this book out; and I hope that it helps you!
