This book of recipes came out of what I call our "95% Vegan Journey", having to face cancer head-on, to change our diet to a mostly plant-based, rethinking the combination of ingredients I use when creating a dish and what they can do to aid in rebuilding and healing the body. There are over 50 recipes in this "Small Book of Recipes," with Vegetables as the central star in all the dishes. Many of the recipes can be easily adapted to vegan but swapping out an ingredient or two. Small Book of Recipes, Shrimp - is the second book in the series. I like the idea of breaking down cookbooks by either a single ingredient or type of cooking. I developed a lot of shrimp dishes, one it's a seafood/shellfish that even people who hate seafood will eat; the other being tuna, but that is high in mercury and if eaten a lot will cause other issues. Two, shrimp are easy to clean and prep, and three, I found a fishmonger who carries organic farm raised and wild from certified waters. (Costco also has highly rated shrimp as an FYI.)
