This book covers the morphological characteristics, ethnopharmacological properties, isolated and identified structurally diverse secondary metabolites, biological and pharmacological activities of medicinal plants. Ethnopharmacology is the systematic study of folklore/traditional medicines, which continue to provide innovative drugs and lead molecules for the pharmaceutical industry. In fact, plant secondary metabolites, used as a single molecule or as a mixture, are medicines that can be effective and safe even when synthetic drugs fail. Therefore, the description of these secondary metabolites as well as methods for the targeted expression and/or purification is of high interest. In addition to surveying the morphological features, ethnopharmacological properties, biological and pharmacological activities, and studies of clinical trials, this book offers a comprehensive treatment of 56 plant species. It also presents the cell culture conditions and various methods used for increasing the production of medicinally important secondary metabolites in plant cell cultures. This volume: - Provides the morphological features, habitat, and distribution of each species of 56 genera selected from the different regions of the world. - Presents ethnopharmacological applications of various species of the 56 genera included in this book. Different species of 56 genera are used for ethnomedicinal uses by the people of various countries of the world.- Describes structures of various secondary metabolites identified in 56 plant species together with their biological and pharmacological activities.- Discusses strategies of secondary metabolites production, such as organ culture, pH, elicitation, hairy root cultures, light, and mutagenesis.- Provides a complete overview of each species of 56 genera and complete information up to 2022.Ethnopharmacological Properties, Biological Activity and Phytochemical Attributes of Medicinal Plants is an important book for undergraduate and postgraduate students, pharmacologists, phytochemists, Ayurvedic practitioners, medical doctors, and biotechnologists interested in the ethnopharmacological properties, phytochemistry, and biological and pharmacological activities of plants.

One such great revolutionary, by whose name the British government goes to death But the heart came and that Englishman also became so enamored of that Majra Bhoi that he rebelled against his own English colleagues to marry him, today we will tell about the life of that Majra Bhoi, my friends. In the year 1824, who was born on the land of India, Majra Bhoi's father Sumer Bhoi used to be the Subedar of the British and used to flatter the British. People were asked to bless their son, now what do the poor villagers do?The one who came here new to Sumer Bhoi, he would have to face the havoc of the British because Majra Bhoi, who was the Subedar of the British, by the time he was 5 years old, he started learning sword fighting and wrestling since childhood.Majra Bhoi was married at the age of 13, her bride was also very beautiful, both of them were playing together. were |Then an English soldier's eyes fell on Majra Bhoi's wife, then he kept looking at his wife, she was no less than a queen, she looked absolutely like an angel, when the rest of the English soldier saw Majra Bhoi's wife, she too Been watching
What was so special about Muhammad that caused people to follow him, obey him, and trust him when he declared he was a prophet?Bharat Singh, a retired professor, covers the prophet's extraordinary achievements in this academic work. He examines how in a short period, from the time Muhammad became a prophet to his death, he successfully converted most Arabs and many others to Islam. At the same time, he also established an Arab kingdom and developed a religious doctrine based on Allah's messages and his examples, followed by about two billion Muslims today. In simple language, the author answers questions such as: What are the doctrines, beliefs, and rituals of Islam? What is the meaning behind the traditions and practices of Muslims? How does the Quran shape behavior in daily life, social customs, gender issues, marriage, divorce, legal and illegal sexual relationships, and more? Why Muslims put faith in the divinely inspired judicial system of sharia instead of laws formed by humans.Knowing the immense curiosity in the west of the violent acts carried by some Muslim groups claiming their actions as jihad sanctioned under Islam, Dr. Singh reviews jihad's doctrine and history. He also devotes a chapter to the jihadi agenda of around last hundred years and prominent terrorist organizations like Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Al-Qaida, ISIS, Taliban, and Hezbollah.
Covers the structurally diverse secondary metabolites of medicinal plants, including their ethnopharmacological properties, biological activity, and production strategiesSecondary metabolites of plants are a treasure trove of novel compounds with potential pharmaceutical applications. Consequently, the nature of these metabolites as well as strategies for the targeted expression and/or purification is of high interest. Regarding their biological and pharmacological activity and ethnopharmacological properties, this book offers a comprehensive treatment of 100 plant species, including Abutilon, Aloe, Cannabis, Capsicum, Jasminum, Malva, Phyllanthus, Stellaria, Thymus, Vitis, Zingiber, and more. It also discusses the cell culture conditions and various strategies used for enhancing the production of targeted metabolites in plant cell cultures. Secondary Metabolites of Medicinal Plants: Ethnopharmacological Properties, Biological Activity and Production Strategies is presented in four parts. Part I provides a complete introduction to the subject. Part II looks at the ethnomedicinal and pharmacological properties, chemical structures, and culture conditions of secondary metabolites. The third part examines the many strategies of secondary metabolites production, including: biotransformation; culture conditions; feeding of precursors; genetic transformation; immobilization; and oxygenation. The last section concludes with an overview of everything learned. -Provides information on cell culture conditions and targeted extraction of secondary metabolites confirmed by relevant literature-Presents the structures of secondary metabolites of 100 plant species together with their biological and pharmacological activity-Discusses plant species regarding their distribution, habitat, and ethnopharmacalogical properties-Presents strategies of secondary metabolites production, such as organ culture, pH, elicitation, hairy root cultures, light, and mutagenesisSecondary Metabolites of Medicinal Plants is an important book for students, professionals, and biotechnologists interested in the biological and pharmacological activity and ethnopharmacological properties of plants.
