Diabetes is now considered as the world¿s most dreaded slow killing disease. Currently in India 72 million cases recorded in 2017 and figure expected almost double to 134 million by 2025. According to IDF prevalence of Diabetes worldwide was 415 million in 2015 and expected to 642 million by 2040. 0.1 million die due to Diabetes annually. Nearly 4.4 billion people comprising 80% of the world¿s population rely on plants as their primary source of medicine. There are large number of drugs consisting of herbal and herbo mineral origin mentioned in Ayurveda for treatment of Diabetes Mellitus without toxic effect and complication.
Osteoarthritis(OA) or degenerative joint disease, results as a consequence of articular cartilage failure induced by multi factorial etiology. It affects mostly the late middle age groups and the elderly. Presently, Osteoarthritis is one of the leading chronic disease in the world. It is a recognized health problem causing high rate of immobility and disability in elderly.
