Before being exiled to the island of Patmos where he wrote the book of Revelation, the apostle John penned three letters to the church at Ephesus. The Ephesian church was the largest in the ancient world and faced, as many churches of that time did, the dangerous doctrines of Jewish legalism and Hellenistic Gnosticism. The church also dealt with false leaders more interested in gain and fame than in spreading the truth of the gospel. In response, John, who was the church's pastor for a time, wrote the Johannine epistles. And, as in his gospel, John addresses all of these issues through the lens of God's love. Bob Yandian delves into John's letters, verse by verse, using context and his own pastoral sagacity to illuminate John's messages. In doing so, Pastor Yandian first provides historical and biblical background-including observance of the original Greek language-to bring alive the truths in John's three letters. Pastor Yandian then encourages modern believers to apply these truths in response to God's pure and unfailing love.Important Johannine themes Pastor Yandian explores in this commentary include: The crucial differences between relationship and fellowship with GodThe reality of and remedy for sin in the believer's lifeThe outworking of sanctificationThe saving power of true doctrine The discerning power of the Holy Spirit withinIn this commentary, not only can readers expect valuable insight into the beloved apostle's writings, but they can also expect a gentle nudge to be more like Jesus and less like the modern Church which, like the Ephesians, has forgotten its first love.

Almost three-quarters of a century after Hebrew believers turned the world upside down, much of the church at Jerusalem had become mired in the legalistic trenches of Judaism and mixed the Mosaic law with their faith in Christ. Like a disease, this tainted doctrine spread to the rest of the church, provoking the apostle Paul to respond with...
Understanding the End Times was never intended to be a book describing world conditions to predict the closeness of the appearing of Jesus for His Church. Many books have come and gone written with the purpose of comparing world events to scriptures about end times and Jesus return. However, this book was not; it was designed to provide a Bible understanding of Gods plan for the ages by weaving together the prophecies of the Old and New Testaments. It was also designed to describe the situations and events that will exist on earth at the time of the culmination of all things. For these reasons this book should be timeless. This book will challenge you to open your heart to the Word of God and your eyes to what is happening in the world. The atmosphere is lining up like never before, spiritually, morally, politically, economically, in every way. Dont let your heart fail for fear of what is coming on mankind and the world. Instead, look up in faith and anticipation. Your redemption is closer than ever!
The book of Romans clarifies the principle of justification, whether it is by deeds of the law, or by the work of God. The law has never been a means of salvation. Faith has always been the means of spirituality regardless of the dispensation. This epistle also helps us to understand how to have victory over the flesh. If we as believers walk according to our new nature, the inward man, we are controlled by the Holy Spirit and not the sin nature. This New Testament Commentary is a verse by verse a verse-by-verse teaching of the book of Romans from the personal study notes of Bob Yandian.
God did not create you to be a slave to the worlds economic system. He does not want you to live from paycheck to paycheck, just barely scraping by. He wants you to live in divine prosperity! God desires you to have more than you need so you can give to others to help meet their needs. In this book, Pastor Bob Yandian shows you how to cross the barrier between having just enough and living in abundance. By applying the principles, you will learn: *How to open the gate to prosperity *How to bring life to your offerings *How to reverse the curse to bring Gods blessings *How to apply the laws of seedtime and harvest *Plus much more!
Epaphras, pastor of the church at Colosse, reported to an imprisoned Paul that false teachers had infiltrated the Colossian church and were poisoning it with Gnostic doctrine. Paul's response was the book of Colossians, a rich concentration of Pauline revelation concerning the supremacy of Christ and the way believers are to live because of it.In this verse-by-verse commentary, Bob Yandian examines human philosophy, false religion, and God's approach to eliminating them both from the church, so believers can live in the freedom of true Christianity.
The Supernatural Alive in UsThe Holy Spirit has always been with man, but in a limited ministry before the day of Pentecost. In the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit lived in a temple made with hands and came on individuals at certain times to do certain tasks. When Jesus Christ rose from the dead, the veil of the temple was rent from top to bottom. This was not just to let us in, but to let the Holy Spirit out. From that day to this, the Holy Spirit desired to live in every born-again Christian. In Life & Power, Bob Yandian carefully examines the Holy Spirit's ever-present role in your daily life, types and shadows that explain His ministry, and how the world was changed when He came rushing into the Upper Room like a mighty wind filling New Testament believers with boldness and power. You'll find yourself convinced of the many benefits of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. And as you yield to the supernatural language of tongues, you'll find yourself pulling a little of heaven down to earth.
What do you do when you have prayed, but something unexpected happens, seemingly contrary to the Word of God? Maybe someone you have prayed for to be saved is still not saved and you begin to question whether salvation is for everyone. Or maybe you have given of your finances into the kingdom of God, but you have not seen a return on your giving and you begin to wonder if prosperity is for some people but just not for you. Perhaps you have prayed for healing for a family member or friend, but they died. One of Satans greatest tactics against the mature believer is to convince him or her that Gods Word does not work. The devil's ultimate goal is for disciples of Jesus to become so disillusioned they turn from God completely or hide their light under a bushel becoming self-conscious about their faith enough to hide it from others. When God is Silent explores what our response is to be during those times when we don't understand, our prayers are unanswered, and God seems silent.
