Get Real is my own personal technique that I created to help fight anxious and depressed thoughts! While unwanted thoughts may seemingly pop-up out of no where, it is up to us to challenge and fight those thoughts as best we can. To battle those unwanted thoughts, I encourage the use of truth, reason, and accurate language. In the fight against the unknown and lies, nothing will defend you better than with truth, reason and accurate language. Get Real will also highlight the Psychological Weapons of Mass Destruction (PWMD) that you may be using everyday that are contributing to making your mood worse! Get real highlights those behaviors and explains how and why they are so destructive. Without further ado, here is a clip from the Introduction of Get Real! "If you are struggling with harsh, critical self-talk, or with symptoms of depression and anxiety, then this book will help you find a kinder, more balanced voice to build a new world of self-respect and compassion. Just like how you can learn a new language, or how to throw a football or drive a car, you can also learn how to change your language to positively change your mood and your life. "
